  1. You are welcome ... I like Canada.
  2. worst I ever had was some natural stuff that the oil separated and sat on the top and you had to stir the peanut butter before using it. too much work!
  3. Question for you. On kickoffs, why does the receiving line run backwards towards the ball carrier and then turn around and engage the defense as opposed to staying downfield, engaging them there thus giving the ball carrier more room to run before encountering resistance?
  4. I've got a bottle of some very fine tequila if you want to stop by and talk.
  5. the way to go ... smart kids.
  6. Everyone that chose Jif is a mutha .... don't blame me, their own commercial said choosy muthas chose Jif.
  7. piggy-backing on millennials imaginary offenses possibly.
  8. well, I did catch him drinking whisky and smoking cigars and trying to play my brand new Les Paul. But at least he hasn't violated the forum TOS.
  9. maybe they're listed in the other thread or maybe Canada gets two Thanksgivings? Grateful people. I can dig it.
  10. you want to come over and kick my dog too?
  11. some of them don't ... after eating peanuts. they're allowed to ruin it because we're now a society where individualism is frowned upon. we're part of an engineered society. we already are expected to think alike, well they prefer we don't think and just obey -- especially if we join a forum. Soon we'll expected to act the same and look the same. face it, Time to face the music, the masses have spoken ... even those with peanut allergies are beautiful. if we all can't have peanuts then why should any of us? Come on man, this current generation is younger than us and has been exposed to so much more knowledge than we have ... time to see the errors of our way and start complying. p.s. a peanut allergy is tolerable; but those that have an allergy to common sense or common decency, that's a different story and I run into that type all the time.
  12. yeah ... hope it was a successful. I have two herniated disks in my neck; but refuse to get surgery. Good thing that pain don't hurt.
  13. Thank you for clarifying that ... I was already trying to figure out how to nicely bust your chops for dressing up your dog. Glad to know that was just the LF's arm sleeve.
  14. may as well play for the Raiders then too.
  15. This is a list of all Canadians? wow, that country sure isn't very crowded. Sorry I didn't make the list ... I like Canada ... except for the snow and freezing cold. Happy Thanksgiving all of you Canadians.
  16. What I can't figure out is why this thread even exists ... Skippy wasn't listed as one of the choices, so apparently this is exclusionary. Not to mention those allergic to peanuts that are being terrorized by this peanut discussion. Why should a person who, through no fault of their own, has a peanut allergy basically have it thrown in their face by those unsympathetic to their plight. Peanut Butter PTSD is a real thing! So Klipsch hates those with peanut allergy is what I'm taking away from this discussion. By the time I get back from my meeting with the therapist I'll probably have forgiven you all though.
  17. play those suckers ... the days of using them to separate the seeds and stems is long gone.
  18. shouldn't those guys have been studying anyway ... after all, it is college. Peace Brother Man ... hope life is well for you in Omaha.
  19. I can think of a nice reply to that; but out of respect to Chuck's thread, I won't as I don't think the moderators would allow it.
  20. HI Bruce @Marvel,,, busted a string on my new Gretsch 12 sting while tuning it. I don't have any spares. I played an 11 string anyway ... couldn't let it just sit there. Deep, powerful sound -- I'm impressed with it. Bigger body than any of my other acoustics, so naturally a bigger sound. Bought a device called the Roadie 3 that you just put on the tuning keys, pluck a string and it tunes it for you (turns the keys for you). But, I hit one string and the device went crazy and very quickly started tightening to the point of snapping a string. I could have broken it myself and saved the $100 gee whiz.
  21. I AM a giants fan and have the game on. lived most of my life in LA, been to a few Dodger games including post season, but NEVER a dodger fan and have never rooted for them in a single game. heck, if the dodger were playing the Taliban, I may have to think about who I was going to root for. was at a game several years ago in SF. Dodgers won and clinched the division and dodger fans were going wild. One of then said of the after game melee ... "Giants fans could never do what we're doing in LA." I said, "if you think you're that bad, there is a Raider game across the bay tomorrow, go and try this LA crap there and see what happens."
  22. Alfred E. Newman for President. Oops, is that considered a political post? if I get banned ... it was nice knowing you.
  23. back in the 70s, I dropped some acid on the way to the Los Angeles International Airport. I was flying to Detroit. Got in the first line that I saw and it turned out to be some foreign airline that wasn't going to Detroit. Tried to buy a beer during lunch; but they asked for ID and I was only 18. Bought a MAD magazine, boarded my flight, and read every word of that issue. Can't recall what I read; but I think I laughed out loud. Thank God that I didn't freak out ... I don't recommend LSD and jet airliners.
  24. at least you're not walking over people like some do.
  25. always figured you for a man with his feet planted firmly on the ground.
