  1. And it has an optional remote! Why is there a compatability list for DVD movies? http://www.sigmadesigns.com/products/hollywood_plus_compatibility_list_dvd_movies.htm
  2. Thanks, I appreciate all the advice everyone has given me. I am also looking for a decent tv-out card (it doesn't need to be a full-blown geforce2, just a stand-alone tv-out card. Is there such a thing? If not, any cheap alternatives? Thanks
  3. You should just wait for the 4.1s. They're $50 more but you get more features but if you're on a budget or you don't need the new features, yeah just search ebay or pricewatch or something for them.
  4. That's what "demo" versions are for!
  5. Yeah you could do that (and you could upgrade your speaker wire at the same time for all of the speakers) or call CS and see if they can help you. The number's below. ------------------ Klipsch Rules. ProMedia Tech Support # 1-888-554-5665 promediatech@klipsch.com
  6. If you can't find anything and no one posts in a couple of days, you could try posting in the CS forum.
  7. Sorry can't help you. You could wait just a little bit longer before expecting tons of replys.
  8. It's really hard to blow the Pros (but not so hard to blow your ears) because of the BASH compression circuit in the sub. So don't worry about the Pros and worry a little more about your ears
  9. I have. Apple sells one (Apple Cinema Display or something like that - it's flat)and it's pretty big
  10. Anything's possible, Mike, you should have noticed that by now
  11. But you have to realize that they made the CP-1 as an upgrade, not as a replacement to the shipping preamp. I know in Canada it costs more and stuff but I also know there's alot of people on here from Canada that are happy paying for an upgrade and not feeling that it's their right as the customer that they should get upgraded whenever they have a little problem. I've had both preamps and haven't had any problems that couldn't be solved by checking the connections and putting an air filter in the room. If you really want to call Klipsch the number's below. ------------------ Klipsch Rules. ProMedia Tech Support # 1-888-554-5665 promediatech@klipsch.com
  12. Yeah I have a voodoo3 chip in right the 500mhz compaq now. It works, I guess. Thanks for the reply
  13. Okay cool. Now all I need is a tv-out capable video card (and a tv that's in my room). Any suggestions? I don't want it to be too expensive, but I also don't want the worst quality, either. Thanks for all your help!
  14. No, there's no "5.1" jack or output for a 5th speaker. The only thing I could think of for something like that (without buying much of anything) would be get a y-adapter and plug it into the soundcard, or use the headphone jack on the CP-1. FWIW??
  15. I have a SB Live X-gamer 5.1 and I don't see any gold connects...I do see a black card, though. It comes with lots of software, too, which if you were to buy it retail would outprice the price you would be paying for the card and the software as a package.
  16. No, you don't. If you have a green light that turns to a red light when you push a button next to it, then you have the CP-1.
  17. I've seen a retail box at best buy (not a shipping box if you ordered it online, but a retail box) and it has all sorts of promotional material on it, so...
  18. What software should I get to go with it?
  19. I'm going to go with the Pioneer (slot, of course ) drive. Where'd you buy it?
  20. I've looked on the Pioneer site and found the product (16x slot loading DVD drive), I only looked a little on the distributor's page (central zone) and I couldn't find the drive. I have the right one, don't I?
  21. Never heard of any more highly anticipated speakers? It sure seems that way, doesn't it? Try the original Pros.
