Great selections for that demo! Where can I buy a guitar like that? Better yet, how much does a guitar like that cost? LOL

Again, there's no warranty needed with HERITAGE Klipsch speakers, unless they are abused by TOO MANY WATTS at stupid loud levels, but manufacturer can't possibly warranty melted woofer coils now can they???. Since there's no warranty on used items, this is what you get, but so what????? Just like GM doesn't warranty your car in a crash.

Look, these speakers are not mine to sell, so I don't care that much. I just thought if someone BELIEVED in the sonic superiority of Cornwall IV's vs. the older Cornwalls, based on all the reviews, this was a good way to save some money and still get the SOUND................................geez, people...............

Hey, calm down! My post was strictly for information, for those that apparently didn't know much about B stock....geez!

  4. Gonna throw this up again and see where it lands. Well, if you have not yet decided what your wife is getting for you for Christmas, I'm here to take the stress away!

Extreme bang for the buck, the Will Vincent modified Baldwin organ amp uses a pair of 6L6 or equivalent per side for about 27 wpc! Beautiful sound with authority and loads of bass control. I am not a tube roller, so I will not elaborate on the tubes, other than that I don’t know how it could get much better. I will get you the exact info on the tubes if you desire. I would really like to keep this piece, but I enjoy swapping gear in and out for variety, to get a taste of what's out there. Time for the next guy to enjoy.

I will ship the amp to lower 48, and in fact it is ready to be sealed up and dropped for shipping tomorrow. Local purchase is still desired, however, and listening demo is available. Serious offers, please…look up the amp and read nothing but positive reviews. I scored this amp from a highly-reputable Forum member 15 months ago.

    $700 shipped for Forum Members

    Thanks,

  5. Good condition cosmetically, and excellent condition sonically! The only photo I have at the moment is one from the previous owner. Can take some more on Saturday, or if there is a rush, can take some tonight or tomorrow night. (work and health issues have me moving slowly at the moment...)

I have not done any serious side by side comparisons with CF-4s, but I tell you I'm not sure if you notice a lot; the two 10s pack a huge punch, and of course the horn is the same as the CF-4. I could easily live with either pair. And these are most definitely Version 1.

Local pickup only in Fulshear, about 35 miles west of Houston. Can demo with a 25 wpc tube amp or a 250 wpc SS monster, or you can bring your own amp if desired, to audition.

    $750 obo

  6. Those appear to be the Version 1, which are more in demand with the Epic series speakers. You can verify that by measuring the port tubes, and also with the serial number, which would show them manufactured early to later part of 1994. May not help the value much, but probably would spark more interest. They also have the 2" midrange/tweeter driver, although I do not know if it is the same driver as their big brothers, the CF-3s and CF-4s. I would also mention that. I have the 3s and the 4s and absolutely love both; one of the best Klipsch has produced to date!

Interesting story about The Price is Right! I think it is a good deal for the package; GLWS

Congrats on the sale.👍  Who  took them home?  If from here,  how about some pics in their new digs.

That was me! I am in a system re-structure mode, so pics will come later on.

Smooth communication and transaction with the Seller, and a sweet deal, too!; thanks @mardigraspete! He drove a ways to cut my trip some, and I got to score excellent Boudin and Cracklin! Oh and a stuffed chicken that we had for dinner tonight. #cajunfoodrules

  8. Road trip Saturday, 02-November, from the west side of Houston to Lafayette, LA; east-bound in the morning and west-bound in the afternoon. 1/2 ton pickup and sunny skies, so I can carry whatever you have.

Would be a great chance to pick up the Baldwin amp I have for sale down below; delivered to your door and tested on your speakers.

Awesome price ... someone better get these FAST :D

Got a pair of these (OK; version 2) a couple of months ago.  Think they are the BEST speakers Klipsch ever made - except maybe the CF-4 and the larger PRO stuff. Actually, power handling is in the pro range ... 250W, 1250W peak. Had them powered with a vintage Marantz 1060 (30wpc) and they sounded great. Switched to a Kenwood C2/M2 (220wpc) combo and now they sound magnificent. Brochure is here ... http://images.klipsch.com/Brochure_940900_epic_635164772854408000.pdf

    GLWS :)

I agree with all of that. Like no other I have heard, and I have heard pretty much all of them in the Consumer line. Loving my CF-4s with a Parasound A21. The Will Vincent Baldwin, at 27 wpc sounds marvelous, but it can run out of gas leaving you wanting more. And these are the first Klipsch speakers where I finally experience that powerful yet toned mid-bass folks rave about. My only disclaimer is that I have not yet heard the KLFs, and I am really Jonesin to do that! Right, @teaman?
