  1. I'm interested in the posters. Where did you get them? What size are they? What kind of frame is it? Thanks.
  2. I'm confused, who is selling these? And where do I pick it up?
  3. Yeah, it was a soffit that was made to cover ductwork. I will post smaller ones. Those were the first ones I posted, and I guess a 5 megapixel pic would take a little while to load on dsl.
  4. This is the stand I bought, but I did not pay as much for them. Do a search I'm sure you can find them somewhere else cheaper. http://www.htmarket.com/cenchanspeak.html What are you all talking about being "off-center?". My back surrounds are no longer there. I had them there for awhile and decided they were not putting out enough to justify the cost. Plus I needed some extra money b/c I recently went down on my motorcycle. Are you all saying the screen is off center? If so, it is centered inbetween the soffit and the wall.
  5. I will post more pics to show you the sides. I did purchase the center stand. I will look up where I bought it.
  6. Thanks, I finished my home theater last summer. It was totally unfinished. Looking at it now makes all the work worthwhile.
  7. Well, I know how to attach it. How do you get it to show up in the post?
  8. I hope the pic shows up. DSC00022.zip
  9. Yes, I have not done this with home audio (because I already have a good one), but my car system had a receiver updgrade. Let's just say I could instantly hear the difference (Clarion to Alpine).
  10. I just purchased the VTF3.2. It is a great sub. HSU has great customer service, and you can't beat calling in and talking to Dr. HSU himself.
  11. Cable covers that go over cables on the floor? If you don't know what I'm talking about they are the covers on the floor that you see a lot in industrial sites, or college classrooms. I don't want the industrial look (of course), but could use a cover that is brown. I only need it to cover approximately 1-3 ft. I would not worry about it so much, but I can't put a rug over it nor to I want somone to smash it by stepping on it. Thanks
  12. It might help if you went to http://www.bluejeanscable.com/articles/hdmi-cables.htm and http://www.bluejeanscable.com/articles/belden-hdmi-update.htm an excerpt from the first site is: "......Chinese cable manufacturers are very good at keeping costs down, but not the best at keeping tolerances tight." This comment applies to more than just wire manufacturing. Food for thought. This really does not discredit what I said. I'm not sure if that was your intent or not. I believe that if you perceive one product as being "superior" to another then you should buy it. Therefore after reading the articles if you believe Bluejeans cables makes the best product, then buy it. The article indicates that most American companies buy their HDMI cables from China. So if you're telling me you can hook up a Bluejeans HDMI cable on one screen, then switch it out with a Chinese made cable that I would be able to tell the difference? I would highly doubt it. Especially if it was a blind test. Better yet a double blind test so we both could guess! You would have a greater success of selling me a miracle in a bottle. Speaking of which anybody have one for sale? [] Great comments, keep them coming fellas.
  13. I would like to comment on the politics of this discussion. Does it really matter where the speakers are made? I don't think it does. Does anyone hear a difference between an American made speaker and one from China? I think not. It goes back to the speaker wire arguement, if I hooked up Monster cables then Monoprice cables, you won't be able to hear an audible difference (given specific variables are the same). Now if you think ones made in America look better or are more sturdier, by all means buy them. I don't mind someone buying something because they think it is better than another item. Are you really putting Americans out of jobs if you buy speakers made in China? In the short-term...yes. In the long-term that frees up jobs to concentrate in other areas. America is going to have to keep up by training people in more specialized fields that require higher education. If one refuses to obtain a higher education then yes, that person is at potential risk of becoming jobless for a long time. Globalization is occurring whether you like it or not. A more important question is to ask how are you going to prepare for it. -Before I am slammed for being anti-American please understand that I am not. I am just saying free trade is a good thing. I have went to school and worked for along time because my previous job (customer service associate) was not going to last forever. If I was terminated because of outsourcing then I was up a creek...with my Klipsch
  14. When running into your burning house you grab your surrounds instead of pricless pictures.
  15. My HSU was next to a PSW50 (the first sub I ever bought). I am happy with the HSU. The turbo looks awesome, pay no mind to the previous comment .
  16. The debate about good vs bad cables will never die. My opinion is that it does not matter. I'm not saying buy the cheapest cables out there, but there are no need for the expensive ones (unless you believe the guy at CC). My vote is go with a good medium. Monoprice.com is where I buy all of my stuff.
  17. I received my VTF3.2 yesterday, and I now understand what this guy was talking about. The size of this sub would make the average person at CC fall over.
  18. Let us know your thoughts after you test it. Might I suggest bringing War of the Worlds and watch the lighting scene in the beginning (approx 15 min.) after the movie starts.
