  1. Please welcome a new Klipsch owner to the world. Bought yesterda (at Best Buy) a system comprised of RF-62, RC-52, RS-42, RW-10d and Denon 2807. The fronts and surrounds are back-ordered and won't be available for a week, so I hooked up my old (very old) stereo speakers as fronts just to get going. The setup parameters, especially the Denon system, is a bit overwhelming. Anyone want to offer any setup advice for a new owner? Thanks. Cliff
  2. I'd like opinions on the following: 1. Proposed system: RB-35's front, RB-25's (or RS-25's?) rear, RC-25 center, and RS-10 sub. 2. Proposed other system: RB-35's front with rears, center and sub from another (read somewhat less expensive) company. What are the risks of mixing the 35's with the 25's and mixing Klipsch with another brand. And where do you buy the RB series? It seems hard to find. This is all about budget, of course. Thanks.
  3. My thanks to everyone who replied. I have to go back and listen to them all again to decide.
  4. I'm about to buy my first new system in 35 years (believe it or not, my Pioneer pre-amp/amp/tuner purchased in 1970 is finally getting replaced). I've pretty well settled on a Denon 2807. I've heard the Kipsch RB25/RC25/RW10 combination (which will cost about $1,500) and a similar set-up consisting of Boston Acoustic speakers, which I didn't get the model numbers of, but are the same size as the Klipsch's and will cost about $1,000. I really like them both and can't decide between them. My interest in music is mostly Beatles, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Led Zepplin type stuff. The other main use for the speakers will be "home theater" consisting mostly of TV, some DVDs, many baseball games. I have size and budget limitations that are leaning me toward the Bostons. Can somebody here help me justify the extra $500 for the Klipsch set up? Thanks.
