  1. I wonder if something like this strap system would work moving a set of jubs???? http://www.forearmforklift.com/
  2. Looks like the IEH market is exploding (hopefully not like the movie Scanners) recently. Just saw this announced from Pioneer. I'd really like to audition several of these IEHs since they all seem to cost a chunk of change, but I realize that probably won't be possible. I'm counting on my future Klipsch IEHs to hold their own against all the other players out there! David
  3. If $350 sounds expensive, what about $1150 for These. David
  4. Sony MDR-7506 from Sound Devices 442 mixer. David
  5. VW is pretty awesome, but so are these guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDzi_QSIou0 = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTyByM25AGY And last but not least:
  6. I ordered a couple shirts on the 18th and still haven't received them. I really dislike dealing with Fedex Ground (not my choice.) The estimated delivery date came and went, then the next day with the package on the van they just failed to deliver. Since I am self-employeed and office at home, I don't have a choice but to send it here and have now wasted two days waiting to sign for something that shouldn't be required anyway. Fedex now says it will be tomorrow, when I'll be catching a plane for my next ESPN gig until next week. I guess if my wife doesn't happen to be home when they eventually deliver they will just send it back to Klipsch. Oh well. [] David FEDEX UPDATE: My trip got pushed back a day, so I had some time this afternoon and decided to go by the Fedex Ground facility and pick up the package. It is about 25 miles away, and they said the package would be there until it left on the van again in the morning. When I got there, the package wasn't there! Someone that works in the office that lives near me took it and was trying to deliver it right about then to my house (no one was home,) but they couldn't leave it because a DIRECT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED! I was hot. I get home and they had left a first delivery attempt sheet, so if I miss it tomorrow it probably will be coming back to Klipsch. Amy you might want to tell your folks in California their direct signature required policy on such small orders, which I am sure is a CYA on their part when people say they never received an item, isn't in the best interest for certain customers like me. This WILL make me think twice before I use your web store again. FINAL UPDATE: Fedex person called me and I went to their house tonight and SIGNED and picked up the package. Rant over. Thanks for listening . . . Oh, T-shirts are swell.
  7. I believe my daughter has to remove her iSkin from her 30 GB Video iPod to fit it in the dock/iGroove. David
  8. I have the rf62s and really like them. I also auditioned the rb61s and rb81s and liked the RF62s best. I think I used 14 AWG wire for everything. David
  9. Here's a group that the drummer also plays in BMG and the bassist is in the East Coast touring version of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. ZO2 Check out the "Temptation" mp3.
  10. It has been around a little while. I don't have a receiver, but I think all the Clear Channel FM stations in our market are currently broadcasting it. Here is the tech behind it: iBiquity Digital Radio David
  11. Try this: Turn on your sansa and hit play using your headphones away from the iGroove. If you can hear sound through the headphones, unplug them (don't turn off the sansa) and then plug the cable from the iGroove into the same jack. Turn on the iGroove (red light will turn green) and adjust the volume until it is loud enough. If you STILL don't hear anything, pull out the j-cup and try to reinstall it in the iGroove (with sansa still hooked-up and playing.) It took me a few times on my daughter's iGroove until I got it to work with my old iRiver. It seems the j-cup will go on without the plug going into the jack properly. After you hear sound, you may want to put the volume control on the sansa somewhere between 50 and 100%. If it starts to sound distorted or buzzy, turn down the volume on the sansa. Then adjust the final voulme on the iGroove. You might also have to adjust the built in EQ/sound settings to work best with the iGroove. Also remember to turn down the sansa before you use headphones again so you don't kill your hearing! David
  12. I loved the Polar Express. We've even got one of those talking christmas ornament things with Tom Hanks on the tree. Trans-Siberian Orchestra was rockin' last night. It has been awhile since I've been to a big concert (I think ticket prices are way too high so I don't go much anymore), but they had more lights and pyro than I've seen since the 80s. LED lighting has also really been embraced. We were on the floor about 9th row back, and my youngest daughter got a kick out of the snow falling on her head.
  13. If you don't have the Eagles "Farewell 1 Tour Live in Melbourne" DVD, my local Wal-Mart had it for $9.72 with a Bonus CD with 3 new songs. I bet your local one probably has the same deal. EDIT: It is also on-line HERE. David
  14. My understanding is RF-63, RF-83, and RT subs made in U.S. RF-82 on down through the product line made in China. I don't know if all the Reference drivers are the same whether assembled in U.S. or China. Heritage stuff still made in Hope, Arkansas USA. David
  15. So does Klipsch actually have a factory in China or do they sub it all out to KSC for a finished product (for the models made in China)?
