raw nerve

Less then 4 days away for my install. Last thing i need your help on is wires? What will come with the receiver,what will i need. Here is what will be hooking up. xbox360,ps2,oppo hdmi to dvi, and a comcast hd box. I just don't want them to come and i don't have what i need. Is there a website that tells you what part of movies are great for demo's. Thanks again

My dvd player is dvi to hdmi on the TV. Will i need optical digital for sound. Plus my Tv has a cable card. Will i need to get a cable box?

Ok i just got back today after talking to my guy. I got the yamaha rx-1600 for 650.00 Did i get a good deal? Now one more thing i forgot to ask, I have a oppo dvd player,xbox 360 and a ps2. Do i need any wires for sound or anything eles to hook everything up. Thanks for all your help. Oct 3 when they come to hook eveything i'll snap some pic's and post them.

Ok now if the dvd is only 5.1 and i have 6.1 what happens?Will the 6th speaker not play

I just bought my first HT i got Cinema 8 plus a rw10d My thing is should i go 6.1 or stick with the 5.1. It's only 110.00 more for the 6.1. My room is only 12x12. I just want to be ready for the future. Any input would be great. Thanks.

First off i like to say hello to everyone. 2nd, I was in bestbuy the otherday and seen the Quintet III MicroSystem and they sounded really good for the size. My room is 12x12 and just want to buy something i can live with for a few years. So can some here build me a nice system from start for about 1500.00 with a receiver. The system can only be wall hangin. I found some nice rb-35's for cheap. Can they be hung on a wall? This is all new to me so please help. thanks joe
