I'm thinking of contacting Edwards Electronics to fix my RSW-12. i noticed you mentioned removing the speaker. Will I have to do that or just remove the amp?

I just picked up a Klipsch sub that was included with some Reference stuff. It seems the serial # label was removed, so no idea what model this is.
