  1. I've found an Onkyo TX-DS595 used for CDN$200 (USD$175) - 2001, 5.1 DTS, 96/24, 75Wx5 @0.08 THD I'm a bit concerned of the age and it doesn't have DTS-ES. I'm not planning to go past 5.1 and mostly play movies. Should I go for this or pass? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
  2. ya, we're nutz for sure....welcome is that Eagles a dvd-a or just a dts?
  3. I'm not an expert, but I hooked up my friend's home theater. We used regular RCA cables for the component tv and digital coax connections. Everything works fine.
  4. I've got a 'spare' RC-35 new in box. My plan was to use it for the rear, but I really don't have the space. If you want it, CDN$350 shipped. I'm in Victoria BC. forty8n123w@yahoo.com
  5. My best guess would be Klipsch Quintet speakers.
  6. Allright, I'll go RF-5 all around and RC-7 center. Thanks for the input!
  7. Ok, another question...are four RF-5's a bit of overkill for movies? I was thinking maybe two RF-5 front and two RF-35 surrounds. I would save about $250.
  8. I was given a price of $1,600USD total for a set of 4 new RF-5's. Before I buy, I thought I would check with you guys. Is this a fair price? Thanks
  9. I just bought a RC-35 and it sounds great. I'm looking for some RB-35's to go with it. I was planning on looking for RS-35's but someone told me not too. They said the RS-62 design will give much better sound in the back corners. Anyone have recommendations? Thanks
  10. Ya, I'm pretty sure the manual said 100W but I lost it about a year ago! thanks for the input
  11. Does anyone have the specs for the original Quintet I's (surrounds & center)? Thanks
  12. Do you guys happen to have the specifications for the original Quintet's? I lost my manual. Thanks
