  1. Indeed. I've attached the original unedited versions for the curious. I love playing around in Photoshop. I'm no pro by a long shot, but it is fun to mess with. You can see all my stuff here, if anyone is interested to see how I spend my free time. I don't take photos for money, so I'm ok with putting it on here
  2. That was the only rooster in a yard full of chickens in the middle of a full crow. He was quite agressive, ha
  3. Like the lighting and colors on the rose pic, nice. Thanks dtel! Natural light from a window. Can't beat it.
  4. Ha! Free range rooster, actually. You couldn't pay me to set foot in a chicken coop. And thank you for the compliment!
  5. Random shots from this week. Clearly unrelated.
  6. Honestly, I saw the farmhouse topic popping up in the recent area, but I assumed it was conjured up from an old post since I heard nothing about it, so I never bothered to click on it. My fault for being passive and assumptive, I suppose! Thanks as always for your support. You know I like to help you guys however I can, when I can. Many of us here are aware of how invaluable this group really is. And yes, Stadium is something to behold.
  7. I should be contacted about future events. It is solely marketing and public relations responsibility to organize/participate in such events, and I would blame no one else for lack of involvement, perceived or otherwise.
  8. I never said Roy was the only one, but he has been involved with events before and knows you guys. With such short notice, he was by far my best bet at getting something cobbled together. I don't think I've been suspected of lying on this forum before. It saddens me. I skim the 2 channel and the lounge sections mostly. I rarely check sections that aren't high trafficked, including this one. I try to limit my 8 hour/day job to 8 hours, but even without this forum, that rarely happens. I'm sorry I failed to anticipate what was being asked of Klipsch without being asked.
  9. As I've stated numerous times before, I do not read all posts. In fact, I usually only read things brought to my attention by one of you. As a result, I learned about this event exactly 3 days before it took place. The plant no longer gives tours, that's true. However, I spoke with Roy last week to see if something could be worked out for this gathering, and he told me he would've been happy to help but was out of town. We did not hold a pilgrimage last year because we had about 10 people RSVP. If there is actual interest again, we would love to hold another one. Paul's legacy is very much alive in the marketing department as well as engineering. But the marketing department is solely based in Indianapolis and it's quite difficult to plan anything in Arkansas from here with 3 days notice. I apologize if you feel we let you down. It sounds like a fun weekend anyway.
  10. We'll be keeping light inventory on these items so they can be refreshed often. Provided we sell through, of course!
  11. We'll be setting up a link from the homepage (large graphic) soon, but you can click on the #KlipschNation section at the bottom and you'll see a collage tile for it called "Gear"
  12. I haven't heard anything yet. Will post here when I know more!
  13. We just launched a new gear store with high-quality merchandise - available worldwide! Check it out here. Most importantly, send it to your friends and family as a subtle hint for gift ideas. Enjoy!
  14. We had to take it down, it was so outdated. We're working on a new one. They are tough to keep up with!
  15. I wish I'd kept a list... this is going to hurt my overcrowded brain... The Watch, Sons of Anarchy, The Runaways, 5 Days of War, The Last of Us (video game)...I'll keep thinking..
  16. We actually do a lot of that, and sometimes shows do it on their own. Larry Crowne with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts actually had Heresy and Cornwalls. Too bad the movie flopped. We were also prominently in The 40 Year Old Virgin and Be Cool (also terrible). The TV show "Suits" features Reference bookshelf models prominently. The list goes on, but those are some off the top of my head. I'm sure we'd like to do more if we could!
  17. Unbelievable. It's staggering to me what the human body can endure, not only from within, but the treatments that follow. We are so strong, yet fragile at the same time. Thanks for keeping us updated, Cal. Thoughts continue to be with you.
  18. I totally understand that, dtel! It's shocking how many people here have never heard of us, or think we are based out of Germany. Although thanks to the Klipsch Music Center just north of Indy, many people now know the name....but think we are just a music center! I get asked for concert tickets every time I tell people where I work, ha! At least it is name recognition, and when people come across Klipsch speakers in a store, they have a distant memory of having heard that name somewhere before... That's actually the thought process behind the sports and music sponsorships...it gives our name more exposure than any magazine ad we could run. And we only go with athletes/musicians who approach us and love us, so it's authentic. It's difficult to get your name out there in this noisy world without spending a small fortune, that's for sure! Don't even get me started on TV ads... End rant.
