Thanks! He was pretty patient with me as I crept up, but he had a jumpy little friend with him who kept running around. They didn't stick around too long. I followed them for a little while, watching them play without taking photos. Then I froze to death.

This guy scared me half to death yesterday, although I'm sure I did the same for him (her?). Canon 60D, f5.6, ISO 800 (nearly 6 pm, overcast), 300mm focal length, exp 1/80 sec.

All the locking? I think I've only locked 2 threads lately. And they were both about the same thing.

OIC. I assumed one of the moderators or spam patrollers locked the other thread for some reason. Too bad, there was a lot of interesting issues coming up. Oh well. Just FYI, I can't see anything after age 30. I locked it. One of my pet peeves is to have someone open up the exact same topic I just locked, only to have it degrade into the same behavior and reasons I locked the original one in the first place. I did give it a chance and didn't lock it right away. I should know better by now. And yes, Dave is able to get rid of spam for me, along with a couple other members here. I find them quite invaluable!

I would look at your soundcard settings. You might have it set to 5.1 instead of 2 channel? I'm not familiar with that one, so I'm not sure exactly where you should look.
