  2. I'm not sure about the screws, but the color is subtley different. When you just look at them by themselves, you'd say they're black, but when held up next to the 4.1 sats, you can tell they have a hit of grey (Gunmetal grey, to be exact!). ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com

  4. It just depends on what's causing the hum. It could be the pod, sub, soundcard, electronic interference... If you want to try out the new pod, you can purchase it, then you have 30 days to return if you're not satisfied (you do not get a refund on shipping, however).   7. Actually, mid-late June was never officially announced by Klipsch, and July 1st was an error on our webpage that was only up for a few days and caught and changed quickly. Unfortunately, word spread quite rapidly, which is a chance any company takes that has the confidence to maintain a bulletin board! Early to Mid-July has really been our official position all along. We've tried to guess exactly, but we have had to make some last minute THX enhancements, and are now waiting on US customs, so an exact date is not possible at this time. Some things are beyond our control, and I apologize for the miscommunications (some cases initiated by rumors!)... I will post an exact date (as will our webmaster) when we are 100% able to do so with no chance of change.   9. I can't give you an answer because I don't have one. The product is in customs right now, and we have absolutely no control over the US customs process. Once we have the shipment in our possession, we'll be able to give you a final date. However, that will likely be the same date, or close to, the time we will take orders, because we will do so immediately. We don't enjoy making you wait any more than you enjoy waiting!   11. If you purchased the system within 30 days of requiring warranty service, Klipsch will cover the shipping.   16. No, that sentence is correct...we would replace the SAME preamp that you have under warranty.   19. If you're using the 4.1s with a digital soundcard (such as the soundblaster, among others) that have digital decoding built in, then you do not need the AT. If you want to utilize a digital output from a device such as a dvd player or PS2, then you would need the decoder. ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com

Using a receiver, you can leave the Heresys plugged in as normal, plug the Audio Tornado front out into an auxilary in on the receiver (male 1/8 mini -male RCA), then plug the promedias in the center out and rear out. Should work fine--Trey in our tech department has tried this setup, and it works great.   25. Sounds like a bad unit, especially since you've tried it in other rooms (reduces possibility of electronic interference).
