  1. I noticed, because I missed your help!
  2. Welcome back, Seb!
  3. Only you and xbulgoogyx have had this problem as far as I know, and we sell a lot of CP-1s! Strange... Well, you're welcome to try an exchange for a different one, if you like. It's up to you. Thanks! Amy
  4. It will measure bigger because it is dove-tailed...it should narrow at an angle toward the inside. I don't know what else to do to help, unless you want to send me the speaker and pod, and I'll try to attach it for you. Let me know!! ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  5. I don't know of an internet dealer, but try: Thorne Electronics 2180 Dunwin Drive Unit 6 Mississagua, ON Canada L5L-5M8 Micron@the-wire.com 905 828-1662 or Audio Thunder 274 Richmond Rd. Ottawa Ontario Canada K1Z 6X2 (613) 725-9500 Rod Pantalone Thanks Amy
  6. You should not have to trim anything, no. Some of them are very tight fits, but just push it back as far as you can against the stand, then push up and forward. --Amy
  7. It really does fit! I haven't had one case where it just won't. If you continue to have trouble, contact me. ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  8. Is that speaker louder at all volumes, or just low volumes? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  9. We do not sell any promedia subwoofers separately. --Amy
  10. Jae, Sorry, we don't have the cables available separately. Call our customer service at 888-554-5665 or order a CP-1 from our website. Thanks Amy
  11. I appreciate that...It certainly isn't easy for me when someone says "I have a channel out" because it can be caused by SO many different things! It's important to go over everything (speaker, wires, sub, soundcard, drivers, preamp, connections...etc), but sometimes I'll overlook something--and it's not easy since I can't actually see the set up myself. You--as a ProMedia owner--are the best trouble shooter (as far as which part is causing the problem) for this type of system! I can offer suggestions, but it's how throughly things are looked at and double checked that makes the difference. Thanks for your input. --Amy
  12. Sorry, we just don't ship the ProMedias overseas at all. Does your local Klipsch dealer have them in stock yet? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  13. When you plug the purple cable into the green jack of the sound card, do the "rear" speakers sound normal? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  14. I have responded to your email... --Amy
  15. The warranty is only good if you purchase them from an authorized dealer. --Amy
  16. What's the name of the company? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  17. The biggest difference between the 4.1 and the 4.2 is the two separate subs, which tends to make it a little more complicated to use, but more flexible. Sound-wise they are very similar. You will likely only hear a difference at very high levels. You'll get a little less output from the satellites, and a little more from the subs in a 4.2 configuration..
  18. Contact me with any concerns! ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  19. Go ahead and send that speaker into our warranty department for replacement. You can take off the control pod by sliding it backwards, so you don't have to be without your speakers. Send it to: Klipsch Warranty 137 County Rd #278 Hope, AR 71801 Include a letter with your name, address, phone #, description of the problem, and a copy of your receipt or your order confirmation number.
  20. We do not have a ProMedia dealer in Israel, but we do have a Klipsch dealer you can try: T.R. Electro-Stereo LTD. Yosi Ben-Yehoshua 15 Arlozorov St. Tel-Aviv Israel +972 3 5231253 yosiben@netvision.net.il ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  21. It is normal for the Promedias to be somewhat imbalanced at lower volumes. This is caused by a slight disparity in ohms for each potentiometer, which is very difficult to perfect. A way to counterbalance this is to lower your software volume on your computer, and compensate by turning up the volume control knob. The disparity is still there, but it is much less noticable at higher levels (10 ohms on one side vs. 20 on another is very noticable, compared to 410 ohms on one to 420 on another at higher volumes). Let me know if that doesn't help! ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  22. Perhaps the limiter was not kicking in on your set... Let me know if you have any trouble with the replacement set, or with the dealer you purchased them from! Thanks Amy
  23. Have you tried a different speaker in the rear right position? Will that speaker work? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  24. No, those are the old ones! You need the 4.1. Was that quick enough? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
  25. Actually, the 4.2 has more subwoofer, less satellites. The difference is hardly noticable, however. I wouldn't get hung up on it. ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
