I had a pair of Stephens cx-150n custom built barzilay cabinets.the drivers in the stephens are more clear in the vocals and stringed instruments.they are not as powerful bur=t were more efficient 103 1w@1m.

The local school district here for whom we have done paint contracting work for the last twenty years has finally let us go.These were good jobs almost no bid type work,we made decent money but were always fair and their when they needed us.They have replaced us with a company that does everything related to the building trades.It has been hard on me,but telling the crew these jobs are gone and they ain't coming back is harder.Hell i guess i needed a break my body is shot anyway.I will survive someway though.Plan on opening a Vintage stereo and record shop soon,as well as doing custom home theater work.

I have both Belles and Cornwalls.And have listened to everything in the world with both of them.The CW's dig lower but the bass is not as tight as the Belles.The Belles are clearly the winner hands down with imaging,not far behind my Khorns.Placement is critical feed them good clean power and they will work fine for momitors.

I have two pair Belles 74 & 77 models.I also prefer the folded horn bass.The bass does not go as low but in my opinion is tighter and cleaner sounding.The Belles are beautiful and don't sound too shabby either.I think the sound better than La Scalas and imaging is close to the Khorns IMo.

My best friend my hero my first born son.Matthew my oldest son will be leaving for Marine boot camp on August 18 his birthday.Their has been a Marine in my immediate family for well over 100 years.He could have chosen and been accepted to most colleges.At first I was mad at him for joining.Not that I have anything against our servicemen. Perhaps it was all the folklore surrounding his grandfather,one of the most highly decorated Marines from the state of Arkansas during World War II.When I asked him why he was joining.He told me so his little brother or nephews wouldn't have to.Words cannot express the pride I have in my son who is now a man.I love and appreciate all veterans who make this country what it is.

Forte II and Chorus II out perform My 1974 Belle Klipsch I don't think so.They image a helluva lot better and take a lot less power.You can't get the same sound out of a smaller box.They must have been a fairly good speaker as they were used in Radio City Music Hall New York for several years.You are also using soild state amplification which greatly misses the mark on the belles.Try 2 Marantz Model 9"s and call me.

I never have wrapped mine.I guess it's just a personal preference.I have both Forte originals and Forte II and Quartets and kept the originals.

My thoughts have always been this.Would a great jazz musican use plastic horns in a trumpet or sax?I don't think so.I have a pair of 1974 Belles and Original Fortes with metal horns.I think they are superior the the plastic ones.I don't here the ringing that many people talk about.

I feel blessed to be alive today.The little town of Gassville,Arkansas was almost leveled last night.I was about 5 miles away and saw the funnel drop. A few miles to the east and Mountain Home would have been leveled.Took off work today will do some volunteer work throught rest of week. We sometimes spend too much time accumilating material goods that can be taken away.

I have a Forte II with blown tweeters.I have set of tweeters from a pair of Quartets.Will they work in the Forte II?

A pair if Oak Fortes is going for well over a grand on Epay.They are nice oiled oak finish.I have a pair of 1988 Walnut Oil Fortes.I love mine but for that price I could almost buy some Belles.
