if you are using the standard cables....it will probably make some difference in the sound quality. I upgraded mine (made my own cables) a while ago, due to new length needs. It made some difference. the system is at least one year old. the cp1 unit is a little less than 1 year old. I will give this a try. Is there any other solution? Overall it isn't a terrible issue, just very annoying sometimes when I want to listen at low volumes. ps where did amy go? did she get fed up with all the problems?

4.1 Sound Blaster Platinum CP1 At low volume levels I have limited left front channel sound. As volume increases left channel equals right. I would say from 7o'clock to 8o'clock there is no left front channel, but there is right front. at 8 both even out. Any suggestions?

I don't think you understand.... The Fiji scored well above all the SB products, along with every other card except the "professional" ones.... Sound quality coming out of a FIJI is better than these stinking SB's!!!

Anyone noticed this issue? I just sat down to listen to my KICKIN promedias and the sub was off. All speakers were firing as normal, but nada from the sub. I powered everything off, unplugged the sub, plugged it back in, powered up and walla! I don't CRANK my tunes, so it doesn't seem the sub would shut down.... any ideas? JOn

If you are having problems with any Klipsch ProMedia equipment, I am sure Amy can take of the problem for you!!!! I don't know why tech support gets bombed on sooo much. I honestly think it is the user not following correct procedures to get the problem fixed. If you have a problem with Klipsch products, call Klipsch. They know what they are doing. I would not own Klipsch HT speakers and computer speakers if this was not the case. Call Klipsch! My two cents. Jon

Most importantly... make sure you have dental coverage. Klipsch have been known to damage fillings and crowns.
