  1. I have everything but a sub now to complete my 5.1 setup. Got Forte II's(front), Academy(center) and KG 1.5(rear). I don't want something overpowering but a sub that matches up good with current setup. Thanks.
  2. I bought several of my speakers kg 1.5's & Academy used. Is there a way to tell what year they were manufactured from the serial number? Thanks.
  3. There is a kg2.2v center sheilded on ebay now. http://cgi.ebay.com/KLIPSCH-KG-2-2-V-CENTER-CHANNEL-SPEAKER-EXCELLENT-NR_W0QQitemZ330153659554QQihZ014QQcategoryZ14992QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

  6. I have a 33lb Academy over top of my Sony SXRD on a Onmimount model #CCH1 that should work with your DLP. Omnimount only rates it at 30lbs but it seems well secure. You can buy these at Circuit City etc. http://www.omnimount.com/consumer/product.aspx?ProductId=ad90ae4a-a012-47db-9bdb-1c3318a4fdf9&CurrentId=8.1
  7. Been reading this forum for 4-5yrs now and finally signed up as member. I've had Forte II's Oiled Oak since new(''93) doing 2 channel. Recently got a Sony 60" SXRD and loving it. Got a 6.1 receiver in '04 and decided with new TV to start using it's capabilities beyond 2 channel. I luckly found me a very nice OO Academy so I am all set with center. I am now looking for some surrounds. Because of size and what the wife will tolerate I am looking at kg series .5/1/1.2/1.5. From reading the kg1 is only speaker in this line not rear ported. I will have these away from back wall so I am not sure this is really a factor. Out of all the speakers I listed which one would be the best bet?
