  1. Thx mate A couple of years old those pic's. Today: Klipsch Forte II (with DIY x-overs) Marantz 1550L receiver Sony XA555ES cd player Luxman PD-264 w/AT arm and Dynavector DV-10X5 pu Squeezebox Classic and a Cambrigde Dacmagic And she's using it for what it's worth. Life starts around 100db and so on...women [] /jan
  2. A good friend of mine got these beauties yesterday [] RF-82 and Chorus II Electrocompaniet EC AW-60 and 4.5 pre amplifier, Marantz cd-63. He's pretty happy [] /jan
  3. Hehe, thx. I am, very. ALK horn stays. But...i'd like to have them in the original top's. Or maybe build new top's in the same finish - look as the original one's. ALK horn is bit bigger (taller) than the original horn's så tweeter won't fit. Ahh well, no rush, need something to do when the winther comes /jan
  4. Testing some ALK horns w/JBL drivers. All three, Altec 511B/original khorn/ALK horn And let me put it this way, ALK is by far the "best" one /jan
  5. Thanks Bruce Playroom for the kids and me They play wii and dad play music, a lot of music. Found some pic's from x-mas 09. Still got some work to do, maybe this summer. New floor, maybe put up a wall close to the fireplace to hide the tv and soundsystem/wii and so on. /jan
  6. Atm using Altec horns (511) with JBL (2470) 1" drivers. Using a "bass amplifier", kit from Amplimo (A-180) and a DIY 2A3 amplifier on the JBL's - Crites tweeters. JBL vs EV Bassamp with Marchand x-overs. (450hz/24db) /jan
  7. Thank you Some pics from a norwegian "hifi" forum. Those subs are huge, 120cmx120cmx60cm. A friend of mine bought them but way to big for his livingroom so a friend of him borrows them atm. Look at pictures http://www.hifisentralen.no/forum/index.php/topic,53399.40.html /jan
  8. Naa, it's a couple of Altec horns. No match for the khorns of course But i am thinking about getting me two hornsubs. /jan
  9. A couple of updated photos. The micro Seiki is the primary source. A few minor "upgrades" in the khorns, got 2 Atlas midrange drivers from a mate. The original drivers was EV. Kinda like the Atlas better. /jan
  10. Just got a new cam. and i had to test it ofc /jan
  11. Thanks []Yes it is, when i need to "recharge" my batteries i hide down there [] Btw, got a few of that t-shirt from the Norwegian Klipch distributor (Audiocompaniet) /jan
  12. New filters in the khorns, new internal wiring [H] Bob Crites tweeters, Bob Crites filters (A/4500) and removed the bass/low pass filters. Old filters and tweeters. /jan
  13. Down in the "bunker" [] Next pic are from x-max 09. Borrow'd a friends AN Meishu, sounded pretty good on the khorn's. /jan
