Here is the table cleaned up So I can start on the Plinth now. Here is the layout, I am using 8 ply for this. Here is the raw material for the box itself, Canadian Maple. It is a little thick but I think it will come out good. There are watermarks but those will be sanded out I like the texture. First cuts but the dang saw did not go all the way through and I had to use mine came out good though. Coming along good. Rough cut, still have to plane, Router and sand. What is suggested for sanding 120, 240 and finer?? I tried to keep the growth rings aligned, I think this will look great (Iffin I dont mess it up) I have to borrow a plane and hopefully I can continue next week.

Glad to hear that you can cook the pork to lower temps now. One of the first things I ate here in Germany in a resteraunt were pork chops, cut around 2 inches thick and done to medium rare. I almost freaked because my mom cooked them to death due to the triggerthingies (new favorite word). They explained to me the do not have that here and cook quite often to rare. I dont eat them any way else now. We don´t have Cosco here but I think I will be buying that cut very soon, it is only between -6 and -12C here now so I think I can still smoke.

Yes the fumes are a beach. The company where I was used to do the lettering of glass pylons for Telecom here at CeBit in Hannover. There were around 175 or so and that meant taking off the old lettering, cleaning with something that also removed the silicon based cleaner they were using and re lettering. After about 50 of them (front and back) you were not sure if everything was straight or not and felt like throwing on DSOM and chilling for a while.
