  1. Back to the ongoing saga of changing the water pump in our 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Bot boss solicited help from our neighbor Jim a retired fire fighter. He has bigger jack stands so was able to raise higher to give more room / to work and finally got the old pump off. Decided to put on the new one and then put the pulley on so new pump is on. About 1/4" away. ....
  2. Sorry to hear of bad Yelp MKP. Sounds like a real ****** bag that nobody wants for a customer. Some people you just can't make happy no matter what you do. Chances are good you're not the first mechanic they've slammed.
  3. Hanging up on auto repairs for the evening. Once the sun went down decided to wait for daylight. Going to pick up all the parts and tools and make sure everything's good and stable. and start up again in the morning. Hosed off the driveway underneath the Grand Caravan. Clean concrete to start in again in the morning...
  4. Latest hint to slide engine a bit towards driver's side to remove pulley. Then should be able to remove water pump.... (I type with a straight face....)
  5. I think I should be close..... to at least getting access to get last water pump bolt off.
  6. Too small a floor jack. Not enough clearance for a creeper. Trying bottle jack to see if can get more clearance. Last bolt is very difficult to get to when can't get under it. The good news is I'm saving over $200 in labor maybe closer to $300. The frustration factor is going up though. lol
  7. Good evening gentlemen. Been working on changing water pump in our 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Nice of the Chrysler engineers to leave almost enough room to make what could be a simple pain in the *** task a royal pain in the *** task. Ugh. Got to get the last bolt off the water pump and then put the new one back in, put it back together, and pray I don't forget anything. I will need a few panel connectors to hold the plastic splash guards in place. One has been off for a few weeks. Doh! Hit puddles just right, belt gets a batch and power steering goes for a few seconds. UGH! Had to pee and re-hydrating. Back to the "fun".
  8. I usually faint and have the best dreams....
  9. Got him back though... cracked him up side the head with a grade a Kennebec... knocked him clean offs da seat, got his foot caught under the clutch... said I was out cold as an ice block fer 6 months... after the tractor scaled the mountain o' taters an fell back on top of me. Don't know why but my balls ache and ma Johnson stands at attention when nurse chantee loupe walks by, blushes and smiles, everybody has called her nurse hot potatoes ever since..
  10. The potato wagon... definitely but not the turnip truck... grandpa said turnips are as useful as teats on a boar. Didn't hurt too much... until my brother backed up over me to see what he ran over. Dang it that hurt, but did he really need to pop the clutch, hollar, yippee and run over me again? That time hurt a bit. I still have night mares if looking up, my cojones swelled up to the size of Madame Marmalades boobies, and getting hurried under 3 tons of spuds.. Still got a couple of knots an bumps...
  11. And to ensure that it is safely and properly disposed of ... I'll be by HQ tomorrow to haul off that gawd awful console before it's existence becomes public ... it will never be seen again....
  12. We love our Bonnie around these parts too... I do have at least 1 or 2 Kingston Trio LPs that you might be interested in if you don't already have them. Bought them with you in mind, if I like them or not and I think I will, you'll probably like them better. Not sure exactly what I have. A lot of new acquisitions as stress relief to and from my last job and kind of a tub or two here, boxes, shopping bags... etc.
  13. I'm sure Mark is only kidding.... and to show we feel no ill towards his ilk. I'll make him an Audiophiliac Nervosa Accessories Chihuahua Pet Amplifier brick custom under glazed with Mark's image, with a healthy dosage of Chihuaha Pet pee as a type of salt glaze... excellent for tuning out unwanted resonances, especially those produced when playing mariachi music. And when the music gets hot, sweats like a Chihuahua pet pees - use with caution.
  14. No $$$ or I'd be interested.... I have a friend / mentor / potential audio client that my be interested.... Has a garage with 250 watt Dennon (I hope he means Denon) "tuner" and a mish mash of speakers indluding (rhymes with hose), DK (DK does not ring a bell....), a couple of pairs of no name speakers... with no bottom end.... in his garage. So after letting him experience what a Promedia 2.1 can do.... (I won't tell him for how little). Quartets might be an easy sell. I'll let you know. He may be too busy until next week.
  15. Drool..... Very similar to Colterphoto1's Roadie's bar band system. Doesn't fly them but 2 KP362 on top of KP 682s oriented vertically or horizontally. Michael built a shelf that fits snug on top of the KP682 to double up the KP362s. I forget all the details on electronics. But this thread explains the mains and how powered by 3 Crown K2s. Not sure if he has a Driverack or not (brain infarction) a friend here in Kokotocky has an EV system with DriveRack and Crown power.... Totally raises the roof. With 1 KP362 per side....
  16. These are still available. This if for 2 single Klipsch CS-650-W in wall contractor speakers that I purchased form a contractor who never used them. Essentially new in box except one speaker is missing the paint mask (piece of corrugated carboard and the other is missing the nuts and bolts. Otherwise intact. Hooked up to verify everything works fine. Note: These use standard soft dome tweeters. Klipsch info. Cutsheet Manual PayPal. Shipping included to CONUS. Pickup/delivery available. No nuts and bolts iwith this speaker. no paint mask with this speaker.
  17. More info here. I think a manual is available. The KSB 1.1 is essentially an indoor version of the KHO-7 with very slight differences in cabinet size and drivers. Owners manual, little rubber feet still in box. These were unboxed once to test them out. Sounded great. Even after listening to MCM stacks.

Gee, I wonder how much my seven TSCMs are worth?? Roger Priceless Roger. Priceless. They're yours.
  19. I don't really want to sell this but putting up for sale in hopes I can raise enough money to be able to make the Hope gathering. Price reduced to $300. Great AMP. Really Nice looking VU meeters though the orange on the needles is kind of faint. Can't afford a Mac with those to die for hug VU meters? This is the closest you'll get. Proton D1200 Stereo Amplifier Serious Inquiries Only please. I really do not want to ship this amplifier. Any buyer is responsible for shipping and packing charges. It was shipped to me for around $32?. From California. Very insufficient packing in my mind. A think layer of bubble wrap around the front in a (thankfully) very sturdy Pioneer receiver box of peanuts. That's it. Expect at least $50 or more to pack and ship. Available for pickup and/or delivery in Kokomo Indiana and surrounding area. Will deliver for the $300 to Kokomo and reasonable distances. Indianapolis. Lafayette. Fort Wayne. South Bend. Should be able haul to Hope if I am able to go. Need to raise some funds for that and some bills. (sigh). I can take and post more pictures if anyone is seriously interested. Loved this amp since it came out many years ago. Still do. And no. I do not intend to put this on eBay. Maybe Audiogon or if I can find a Proton Lovers Forum. Proton, you will remember, began as the high end division of NAD .... or so I read somewhere on the internet. lol Powering Klipsch CA-5T (left) and AW-525 (right) speakers on Deckzilla by Pondzilla. Sound meter about 36' away from speakers 12' above ground, meter about 4' above ground. Videos... https://youtu.be/oTlG96o7ajg https://youtu.be/OYiXI0z_RfM
