  1. They are not. With that said, speakers as new as this one is have a failure rate of I bet less than 2%. Bill
  2. @Trader05, Welcome to the forum. Sorry about the loss that led to the inheritance. I would guess the "value" of all to be around $200.00. Without the sub, maybe $125.00. Seriously hard to estimate because that line of Klipsch is not in much demand. Bill
  3. @Erman, Welcome to the forum. My order of preference. 1) RP-6000F 2) RF-35 3) R-820F If I am not mistaken, I think the RF-35 was made in China also. Bill
  4. Pull the ad if allowed and do what you need to do. Then repost an ad. Bill
  5. Just dust them off thoroughly, every nook and cranny, and re examine them. If some type of polish is needed for that nice sheen, apply lightly. Bill
  6. @Ocalaman, Welcome to the forum. Nice La Scalas. Not being a butthead, but one question, did you think to wipe/dust them before posting photos. I see this way too often with for sale ads. Bill
  7. I know weight is not everything but the 7 channel Denon comes in at a weight of 19 pounds while the 2 channel Yamaha weighs 22.7 pounds. Now that is out of the way. The Denon should have settings where you can drive only the L-C-R. Bill
  8. Very nice deal. Plug and play. Bill
  9. Good to know. I did not think the RP280FAs were the culprit. I would not worry too much about that. Unless the speakers were abused, passive speaker designs usually never fail or take decades to decline in sound quality due to aging capacitors. Bill
  10. @CHOWDERBROWN, Welcome to the forum. Try to be a little more specific. Is it NOS(New old stock)? Do you have box and all included? Assuming you are talking about this. I think these were $499.00 msrp so I bet somewhere around $350.00 might be reasonable? Bill
  11. $300.00, grand larceny, $450.00, a steal. Bill
  12. My Onkyo gives the option so I bet a little more hunting the menu is in order. Bill
  13. Yes huge upgrade if not using a subwoofer. Not as much with subwoofer but still an upgrade. In a small room, the RP600s/subwoofer may even image better. In a large room with continuous high volumes(loud), a beefier amp may be needed to get the best out of the RP-280Fs. Bill
  14. Not much of a tech guy but maybe due to it's age it has drifted out of bias toward Class A which would definitely cause the receiver to run hotter. Bill
  15. $450.00? Worth every penny. Bill
  16. I still believe that. They really are balanced very well and so smooth. Bill
  17. Thanks buddy. I hope all is well with you. Bill
  18. I have no hesitation suggesting these. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649756506-cambridge-azur-840e-preamp/ https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649756421-aragon-28k-mkii/ https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649754036-adcom-gfp-555-preamp-in-very-good-condition-and-works-well/ Bill
  19. insane deal. Good luck with your sale. Bill
  20. I have three identical 8ft cables and two female to female brackets. Actually, this is your best option. Bill
  21. I am looking. I might be able to find something not in use. Bill
  22. Come on folks, be nice. Enough negativity and strife outside of this community, don't really need it here. Bill
