  1. Thanks Westcoastdrums. That would be good for me, but bad for the seller. Unfortunately neither Fedex nor UPS know how to pack properly. The interested party in Dominican Republic just had one delivered and said "UPS packed my rsw-15 for shipping and the front bottom corners got banged up." If I were to ship it, I would purchase 1/2" foam board and make a custom box and cut the foam board to the exact dimensions of the RSW-15. Like I said, it would take me 1-2hrs for me to pack it properly. That's why I hate shipping heavy items.
  2. I have a guy interested in purchasing the black one but it will need to be shipped to Miami, then he will arrange freight shipping from Miami to Dominican Republic. Looks like I might be open to shipping (although I REALLY would rather not due to the size and the fact that it will take me probably 2hrs to properly pack it. I revised the title...thx for the suggestion.
  3. @derrickdj1, what do you define as a "real difference" ?
  4. RF82 II / RC62 II IMo is the sweet spot of value / performance. I would have no regrets with that very capable system.
  5. I even told him I was in the market to buy new subs. Even if he wasn’t interested in sending me one to review I would have thought they would have at least replied to try and make a sale.
  6. Yeah I should give him a call. I have just had great response from other manufacturers through email, Facebook or Instagram. I tried all three with JTR and even emailed both emails listed on their website as well as using the contact form on their site. Nada...
  7. Danley would certainly be cool. Just not sure where I would put such a monster. I have reached out to JTR about reviewing their subs....no reply...nada....crickets.... SVS sent me a pair of their SB16's to review....wasnt' quite what I was looking for. Then they sent me Dual PB16's to review and liked them enough to buy them.
  8. Thanks. It took me 3 years to locate 4 of them. I too am a bit surprised. In time, they will sell. In no hurry.
  9. I believe they put a hold on the Heritage subs. Not sure if they are going to be introduced or not.
  10. Thanks @Jason M. Yes you will be. @willland this layout is very similar to your living room.
  11. I started with the RS52 and used them for a few years with the RF83 and RC64 and they worked great in my 13' x 19' with 10' ceilings. When I upgraded to 4 RS62 II, they did have a larger sound, but it wasn't night and day. The RS52 would work fine in your space but as mentioned, you might have the upgrade bug or the "what if" down the road. Either solution will sound great. One will just sound better. Just depends on if you feel $250 would be worth it.
  12. A lot of guys say the Forte III have tons of bottom end. Room acoustics must play a huge role in that as I felt the Forte III did not have the slam that I desire. My room is 15' x 25' with 12' ceiling and opens up to the kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room and home office so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it as well. I liked what I heard from the Forte III but they just sounded smaller and didn't have the bottom end I need in my setup.
  13. If you feel the highs are too soft on the RF7 II, you probably are not going to like the sound of the RF7 iIi as they have an even smoother top end. The RF7 are incredible speakers but have always been plagued with being very harsh and ear fatiguing at higher SPL’s. Imo, the RF7 II and RF7 III have significant improvements in the top end. My ears did not hear much difference in the lower frequencies
  14. @Kman, I haven't heard the Reference Premiere but Klipsch is going to send me an RP system next month to review on my Youtube Channel so I'm looking forward to hearing how they compare to the RF7 III. I would think the RF7 III would be a significant improvement over the RP-280F due to the much larger 1.75" Compression Driver, larger cabinet (which typically offers a larger overall sound and presence) and the larger woofers. Just curious @Westcoastdrums, what did you hate about the RF7 II. They were a significant improvement in the high frequencies over the RF7. And IMO, the RF7 III are an improvement over the RF7 II. I invited several guys over to do some A/B/C Comparison between the three speakers and the RF7 III had the most refined, non-harsh top end of the three.
  15. Yes I have. I just received an email from JVC's Marketing Team. Might be getting one in to review in the near future. A friend of mine has a JVC and it looks amazing!
  16. Hmmm...I am upgrading my Panasonic AE8000u 1080p projector to an Epson 5040UB and just ordered a new HDMI Cable last night since my current HDMI cable is old and non-4K complient. How long is your run? Mine is 40'.
  17. Glad to help @Kyle D. Be sure to let us know what you think after you get them installed.
  18. I have (4) CDT-5800-C II with (3) LaScalas and (4) RS62 II in my home theater and they are fantastic. They have added a completely new dimension to my setup and have really changed the movie experience.
  19. Welcome to the forums. Page 9 in this document will show you how to connect them to your receiver - http://assets.klipsch.com/product-manuals/Reference-Premiere-Speakers-Manual.pdf
  20. That is correct. I have owned both the RS62 and currently own the RS62 II. I didn't hear any difference between the two. Merely cosmetic.
  21. No, I haven't heard the Ultra Surrounds or the Prime Elevation speakers. SVS sent me the Ultra Towers and Center to review. The review period has ended and I have since shipped them back.
