Went to a store call Gaget ease near me, that had just opened. They buy and Sell gently used electronic Items.................currently they are just Buying Electronics................. turned the first corner, and Bam................some used Klipsch 3.5KG's.............continue to wander and then Wow a Beautiful set of Oak Heresys, and they are ONLY 160.00............... The Catch, they are not selling anything until the Grand Opening on 10/2. Well it helped keep me from an Inpulsive Buy ! [H]

Might get more for the low milege, but generally running 4 - 6 K on average. Nice Color, but the Rust factor worries me...........what else might be rusted through..............? I say wait- save your money.................for those "What if's that keep popping up".............

Heritage VS RF are two totally different sounds. RF will take up less space. Price wise to me, it would be close to the same price wise, with LS being slightly more expensive (Assuming Used). One last consideration.....................do you have to check with a Siginificant Other on style, color space?............... Good Luck.

You will be just fine. I had the older model 240 HK and Fortes and it worked just fine. Hook up, relaxed and enjoy the Music. Fortes are a fantastic speaker. Excellent bang for your Buck ! Try listening without the Subwoofer and you'll be blown away at how deep the Fortes go.................Enjoy !

You know your old, when the All in One, receiver/turntable/speaker combo- that comes in a small case- appears as an Antique Item now adays.....................[H]

for me, I found Heresys nice..............but they need a sub. If your happy - stick with your current setup ! Take your Significant Other out for a nice Dinner................

Question: The Old RF7's seemed to require lots of Power to get the Best out of them Will the New RF7 II also requre the same, or will folks be able to use Common receivers that don't cost an arm and a Leg ?

Glad it was just Stuff and that no one was hurt. Unless Insurance is giving you some money, I would just get a Regular LCD TV (as opposed to the LED tv). Prices have come way down in the last two years so you could get a good bargain. I wonder if the new RF 7's will require the extra power to run them , like the Old ones did ? If so, I would go with the RF 82's which to me, sounded smoother and only required a standard, regular receiver to run them................ (This observation was made from posts made in the Past . Folks always complained that they needed to purchase larger Amps and Pre Amps to bring these alive)........................
