I have been doing a lot of reading about the Fastrac horns, and i would like to do this with my La Scalas. I need to sell my k-400 horns, and maybe some other things so i can scape up the cash. I have checked the completed listings on Ebay, but there's not really to much to go on. Does anyone have any idea what i could get for the horns. Thanks Bill.

If it was me i would hang on to that sub. Put it in storage, someday you will wish you had it. I've sold stuff that i'm still kicking myself for selling.

I thought about building the Table Tuba to run with my La Scalas, but Bill told me i had better build the THT. I built it, and i am glad i did. It doesn't have any trouble keeping up with the La Scalas.

I can't really give any advice on how the Tuba does with movies, cause i don't do home theater anymore, but i'm sure there are other Tuba owners on here that could. I built my Tuba HT to use for music to help out the La Scalas on the bottom end. I am sure you will be happy with it if you build one. All of the reviews that i have read have been positive.

When my wife saw my Tuba fully assembled. She said "is that thing really going in the house". She finally got used to it though.

Cool, I love horn subs. My Tuba never runs out of steam. I never have to run the gain higher than 10 on the amp. Sometimes thats to much.

Wow, That's beautiful. Wish i would have done that on my Tuba. I am just wondering how an 8" driver would keep up with with the La Scala.

I must say that you all are doing a fantastic job with your builds. I wish i would have taken more pictures of my THT build. I am getting the itch to build something else so i am going to build an Autotuba for my son. I have aready got the driver so now it's time to get the wood. Keep up the good work.

Here's a tuba HT next to a La Scala. The tuba is 36x36x25

I believe i have a diaphram going bad. At loud volumes i hear a crackling sound coming from the midrange, i changed drivers from one speaker to the other, and the sound changed to the other speaker. I should change both diaphrams considering their age, but if i just changed out the bad one for now would there be a noticeable difference in the sound from one speaker to the other. Thanks.

Jason, i don't know how you feel about Carver gear, but i use a Carver C-1 Preamp, and i have been really happy with it. I got mine on Ebay for around 80 bucks.

The Table Tuba was my first choice, but then settled on the Tuba Ht since I have room for it. I have an itch to build something else so i may just build a Table Tuba, and give it to my son.......Good luck with your sale.

This is a darn good sub....i know that now, somebody needs to buy it, you will not be sorry. Jason, what are you building next.

I'm using a Tuba Horn Loaded Sub. This Sub has no trouble keeping up with the La Scalas.
