  1. Still available. At this very low price, I ask that the buyer pay shipping. I will package the amps at my expense to survive handling by gorillas!
  2. If you want to go with a new turntable, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is very highly rated and reasonably priced. Check the reviews. They are glowing.
  3. Protect your tube amp with this isotap, as recommended to me by Craig Ostby. I used it with the Scott LK 72 that Craig reconditioned for me. $25
  4. Harman Kardon 630 twin powered receiver, very good condition and sound, more power/better sound than the 430, serviced by HK certified tech in 2008, fm tuner section was non-functional when I bought it, but I will include at no charge a very good Yamaha TX-350 tuner that I bought to use with the 630, used these with Heresys for some sweet sound - $150 for the pair HK 630 Description First Manufactured: 1973 Last Manufactured: 1975 Specifications: Tuner Section Sensitivity : FM - 1.9 microvolts, Ihf Signal-to-Noise Ratio : 70dB Capture Ratio : 2.5dB Image Rejection : 50dB Spurious Response Rejection : 78dB Multiplex Separation : 35dB Total Harmonic Distortion : MONO - 0.6%STEREO - 0.7% Amplifier Section Power Output : 30/30 W RMS @ 8 ohms from 20-20kHz at Power Bandwidth : from less than 10Hz to beyond 40kHz Total Harmonic Distortion : Intermodulation Distortion : Hum and Noise : Better than 85dB below rated output Damping Factor : 40:1 Frequency Response : from below 4Hz beyond 70kHz +/-0.5dB at normal power levelsfrom below 1 hertz to beyond 100kHz +/-1dB at normal power levels Square Wave Tilt : Rise Time : SQUARE WAVE - Stability : absolutely stable with all types of speakers. 5. Dwillie - I have a post for a really nice matched B&K pre-amp/power amp pair. $300 for the pair. Pics are in the post. "B&K Components pair, Pro-5 pre-amp and ST-140 power amp, really sweet sound, reviewed as sounding tube-like and they do, used with LaScalas (http://forums.steveh...plifier.226042/) - $300 for the pair." 6. Thanks, Lyle! The Forum is full of great people, like yourself.
  7. Really nice matched B&K Components pair, Pro-5 pre-amp and ST-140 power amp. Sweet tube-like sound. Pro-5 has a good phono stage. Used these with LaScalas and Choruses. Great presence and soundstage. I moved last year and retired. Now in a smaller house. Had to sell the LaScalas and now the amps. Honestly, the B&Ks sound as good to me as the Scott LK-72 tube amp refurbed by Craig Ostby that I also used with the LaScalas. I have seen great reviews for the ST-140. It is a solid unit. I have also seen some for the Pro-5 complaining of problems with the RCA connectors, but I have had no problems at all. Listening in the passive mode on the Pro-5, bypassing the gain stage, the sound is excellent. $200 for the pair. Charlotte, NC area. I will be glad to ship and will pack them like armor plate for safe arrival. Thanks. B&K ST-140 power amplifier Specifications Description: Solid-state stereo power amplifier. 9. Harman Kardon 730 twin powered receiver, great condition and sound, all functions and lights work great, sounds great, serviced by HK certified tech in 2008. Asking $175
  10. Thanks! You're right, they are great speakers. They are just waiting for the right new home. I am flexible on the price, too.
  11. Yes, I would, to get it to a good home.
  12. I have a very nice, fully functional HK 730, if you are interested. These twin-powered receivers are great with Klipsch speakers, as you have probably seen in other posts. I used it with Heresys and Choruses. I have not posted it yet in the Garage Sale forum, but my asking price is $175. You can check on preferred shipping costs. I had it serviced by an HK certified tech in 2008. Since then I have moved to other electronics. I'll attach a couple of photos. I can send better ones, if you like. Jeff
  13. Mike - I have a very nice, fully functional HK 730, if you would like to return to that. I am sure I could get it to you in Florida shipped for well under $250. My asking price is $175. You can check on preferred shipping costs. I used the HK for a couple of years after having it serviced by an HK certified tech in 2008. Since then I have moved to other electronics. I'll attach a couple of photos. I can send better ones, if you like. Jeff
