This has been on the back burner for far too long. I built a pair of cross overs for my LaScala that I hardly ever use, then I was lending them to a friend to use at his wedding reception and I had no output from the woofer. Swapped x-overs and the problem followed. I'm not looking at it right now, but I'm sure the only thing between the input and the woofer is a coil. Can a new coil be bad? Can get a pic if needed.

These are brand new from an authorized dealer, came as a package deal. They are still double boxed as I received them. Not gonna open them for pictures, I've done plenty of business with members you don't need pics. The vendor did a great packing job, these will ship fine. Dexter, Maine $750 if you can pick them up.

Best info I can find says new MDF will "offgas" heavily for the first year and some for 5 years. These are 6 years old. If anybody is serious I can go lay hands on them tomorrow and confirm what klipsch says. Just got off the phone with Klipsch, they say they have been using MDF for internal pieces all the way back to the 70's. They also say that all external parts are plywood. He assured me that the top and bottom of the high hats are NOT MDF.
