Hope so as well. Read the links posted and got some good info. Please let us know the fix. Thanks!
  2. Diggin' on your speaker set from your labor. Badge looking decent.
  3. Yes the humidity and the bugs are bad around here most of the time. If you carry some TOP in your wallet, you will have a paper accordion to play with. Some cool dudes round about here. Good fortune!
  4. Like my OCB's for rolling my own. Turned into OCD quickly after. Sounds like your speakers are going to close in on you...
  5. Here is a pic of the LaScala pair not long after shoehorned temporary setup. They cleaned up nice except for DIY badge misplacement from previous owner and someone left a minor burn mark from a cig or something and a couple of watermarks on top of one. Not perfect but, I can live with the bargain. 2 college guys loaded them for me and some electronics into a 2000 Volvo wagon. It was plug and play.:
  6. Think I read in link it turns red when near clipping point. Maybe a separate led. The beauty may be the weight and the price tag. !00 watts not slouchy, in my limited opine.
  7. Welcome to the Klipsch forum! We look forward to seeing pics of the speakers. Thanks, Billy
  8. Beauty of a Beast looking: https://www.mcintoshlabs.com/products/integrated-amplifiers/MA252
  9. Wow, Remember your trip and the room service at a lovely spot you two were at. Been as far as Marathon as recall but yes, it is a job to just begin to do the speed limit. Wrote about the Tampa to Fort Myers interstate race. Traffic sucks you into drafting. Coffee can help, but not too much anymore. Have had to have a couple of cups late at night for Klipsch road trips. Maybe they are heading south to pick up Klipsch.
  10. Have made some roadtrips. Some much longer than my last one for Klipsch speakers. Approximately 40 miles rounder. LaScala's were a deal off of craig's local list. Posted here in alerts but as the day wore on, I was the one who got them. Still look at the local Florida craigslist. You never know...
  11. Looking good Joe! GLWS... Agree rplace...
  12. Thursday could be the day for someone...nice find.
  13. Spraybottles work but looking at a 24/7 situation. Some cats like music but even if super loud, again the 24/7 deal. The Pavlov effect of conditioning for cats only goes so far. Some things that I thought cats would be attracted to, did not happen. Other times, after initial introduction to them, their curiosity was satisfied. It is a difficult proposition at times to counteract. If I had Heresy of any type, I would raise them off of floor as, a cat I know (female) eventually made a habit of spraying my floorstanders through the grille, unseen and un-noticed. Too late, the damage done. As for no grilles, no way I can trust any cat with a woofer. Thought about blocking bottom part of tallish floorstander. grille, but with what? Now I think I would try something to block the grille while not in use or, away from home. All it takes is one or two effective attacks to P*** you off...Good fortune
  14. Dang good thread...thanks for the read and the pics. BTW, going to need bigger speakers...and a truck.
  15. Miss my near mint pair. Bet if he did get the titaniums and continued to listen, the new electronics mellowed in. Welcome to the forum...
  16. Don't think I posted the Made In Japan double live lp....I have but, anytime was a good time to see them Rory Gallagher...What a musician! Saw Taste in Orlando at the Lake Eola bandshell in 70. 18. Saw some while boating down the Wakulla Springs River. Come to find out, we had some here at home. Nan is careful about where I mow. Anyway, they have always been a predictor for a Hurricane in the area. They tend to spring up really quickly.
  19. Hurricane Lily from Hurricane Irma 2017 Almost got the whole thing in...
  20. Have the RF-3's for HT and 2 channel at times. Proper placement using your rule of thumb, you know how decent the bass is with/without a sub. Should have kept the Nak AV 500 you sold me....lol watts... Cheers
