  1. Tarheel, do you have a link for the $27. DAC? Thanks in advance,
  2. A ballcock goes inside the tank of a commode. Sorry, called it wrong: http://www.amazon.com/Dramm-12353-Heavy-Duty-Brass-Shut-Off/dp/B000HHQAQY/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1436807351&sr=1-1&keywords=brass+valve
  3. Great fan of ballcock valves. Held up nicely this past winter on wellpump. Brass!
  4. Just goofin' on ya. The second sub is still in the garage getting cleaned up. All used, owned by someone else equipment gets a thorough going over before it comes in the house. Wife's orders, don't wanna lose any bush stacking privileges. I hear you. No hitch hikers allowed. Alright, will look for pics later.
  5. Oak snakes thrive around here. Totally beneficial!
  6. Can't fool you Mark! Just bravado, reinforced by a couple of Miller Lite. Of course, I work best under pressure so, may wait until I hear she is coming back. Back to self now, and resting after my hardly work weekend. Wait, it is noon time here. pop... Can drink those all day long and type a straight line. Hardly beer!
  7. Careful when cutting and stacking the "bush" You caught that! How is that dual sub setup?
  8. Busy week ahead. Finally take car back in for oil change. Mow the yard after picking up. (love that). Maybe some cutting and stacking bush. Get a new pair of glasses. Thinking I can get more done while the cat is away. Get some batch pad provisions fresh. Beer or 2. Inside, finally time to do 5.1 or 7.1 setup with a monitor. The 50 inch set is 100 lbs. approx. It is sitting on an old school large tv stand, crt bought for purpose. Yes, she looks at me thinking, he really does not know a clue. No original stand could find so just took a chance for tv set option with a Stance. The pidgeon toed metal stand from amazon is minimal and sturdy No wall penetration desired atm. Want minimal, uncluttered and not fussy Will take more than 1 day so, some fun running some wire for myself. Want to hear the sr7500 through the Klipsch 5.1 RSX5 with RCX-4 Center. The audio amplifier in the Panasonic set is like around 80 watts, or 40 wpc. Have run the 5's since setting up the set. Marvelous... Hook up the 5.5 to the set and listen for fun. Looks like I have no time to do all I can. Just do it, Better eat some Wheaties then with coffee.
  9. And yet another successful road trip! Congrats
  10. She was a good singer, Tony is right.
  11. Lol, can think of no better way than to fly over prospective properties to get a feel for the area and neighborhoods. Good Hunting! Whoops, looks like you have a prospective buyer for your stacks! Good fortune
  12. Yes, once those antibiotics kick in some there Steve, you will get some peace. Amoxicillin always knocked it down for me, and keeping still as possible. Sometimes, ice helped. Good fortune
  13. It'll get there Joe! Meanwhile, you posts are interesting and easy to read so post away. Been learning quite a bit of what was unaware of. My feeling on the music and headphone subject is changing somewhat by your experiences with them. From looking around, seems a lot of folk are still turning onto the inner ear audio experience, both young and older. Have you considered a bookshelf A/B...lol Thanks!
  14. Dang, glad Dtel got a cup after all that! New fangled coffee makers anyway!
  15. Sounds like fun work there in Arkansas! Dtel needs his rest and a cup of coffee... Well partied too last night, here at the hacienda. Suppose to get the Volvo back in for it's 2 week checkup to change oil again and correct any problems if any.with the new old motor. Guess I will do it next Tuesday as Mondays I sleep after work weekend. It is almost like hide and watch to see if it happens. Nancy may have her spies looking in on me. Oh well, I may go outside and crank the lawnmower.
  16. Rest in Peace! They will be talking about you for awhile!
  17. My uncle was told to drink 2 beer a day by his doctor to flush kidneys. He decided on tall boys, just in case.
  18. Doctor wanted me off of caffeine for quite some time. Man 10 days is real! Good job. A friend that had a procedure on his heart awhile back still was drinking 1 cup per day but, yes. I love glazed plain donuts from a bakery in my home town, while growing up there and still, they make them today. Live too far away now. And that is a good thing! Best to you there BigStewMan!
  19. Yes, think I am good to go now. Waiting for news from those out doing. Will wait up till Nan is there. Why do you miss a woman when she is away, barely out of the door.... (rhet) Anyway, am occupied with listening and, it is not all that as you may think, there is work here besides cats to be attended to. For instance, I just put another couple in freezer on way to check my laundry. Busy, and I hope not too nosy. Maybe they have catering.
