  1. Anyone know what the specifications are of the drivers in the soundbar? I'm trying to determine the crossover frequency for this component: "(4) 3” (76.2mm) high output oval fiber composite cone woofers" Typically, in the manual there is a spec sheet that contains the technical specs for each component - but it's either not there or am I missing it.
  2. Ok..... I received the C-3. It sounds fantastic. The sound matches perfectly with the F3's. The cabinet is made of a plastic type mold material. It does not appear to detract from the performance though. I believe the reason they went with this material is because the whole enclosure is of a curved design. They wouldn't have been able to do it with wood.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I purchased it from Best Buy and it should be here within a week. I'll let you know of what material the cabinet is comprised. BTW, it's currently $66 off at best buy. Standard shipping is about $20. With tax that brings it to about $305 shipped.
  4. Hey guys, looks like the synergy C3 is now available for purchase from amazon.com! $330 with free supersaver shipping. http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Synergy-Center-Channel-Speaker/dp/B0011YXGAA/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1200687259&sr=8-30
  5. That is great news! Thanks for the link!
  6. I have been happy with the mini sub that comes with the pro media 4.1 system. Not to go off topic, but what are your qualms with their subs? The only other self powered subwoofer I have owned was a 15'in Cerwin-Vega. The amplifier died in it after roughly 5 years of use.
  7. I knew this was going to happen. It's one of the dangers of not buying the entire matched set at once. The only problem with doing that is it costs a small fortune: Pair of F-3's = $1000 C-3 = $400 Pair of S-3's = $1000 12' Sub = $500 -------------------------------- Grand Total $2900 (rough estimate of course) Too bad we can't just order them direct from Klipsch.
  8. That's not good. I recently purchased a pair of F3's from Best Buy on black Friday. (got a killer deal) My next purchase was to be the C3. I have held off on purchasing a set of speakers for this long because I didn't want to be in a situation where I could no longer buy the rest of the matched speakers for a surround sound setup. I never knew the synergy line was created specifically for Best Buy. They don't appear to even offer the C3 online anymore. I sure hope another outlet is found. The only problem with Amazon.com is shipping will cost a fortune.
  9. For some songs/albums, Itunes will offer a "plus" version for an additional 30 cents I believe it is. These songs/albums have been ripped at a higher rate (256kbps) and are DRM free.
