  1. I wouldn't be surprised at all... just as long as somebody else cooks it! But at least the system sounds great in the kitchen. Those KG.5's are one one of the most underrated speakers out there, they sound like little Forte's or Heresy's and are almost as efficient. I've compared them with some of Klipsch's later bookshelf speakers and they sound way better... don't know why they stopped making them. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Sometimes I almost cook... steak and pasta is about the limit of my talent. Also chicken and tator tots with country gravy... nummers! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. I have a little 50 watt tube amp and a pair of KG.5's in my kitchen, which really kick *** when I reheat the super burrito combos I get delivered from Chapala Express down the street! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for the explanation! I know squat about Klipsch cinema products so this has been a learning experience. I'm gonna to have to point Bluesboy to this (if he hasn't seen it before), as he might like to build some MSM replicas. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. Dtel, are the side speakers KPT-MCM-Q-II's? Why aren't you using those for home theater? Granted they're overkill, but just curious... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Oh hell I forget... my mind is like a steel trap with the door open ;-) Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  7. I like your taste, especially SRV, Bonnie (her latest is excellent), and Tedeschi (especially teamed with her husband Derek Trucks... their new album is also excellent). Even though I collect a lot of vinyl, I must admit I find myself listening to TIDAL most of the time, mainly because of sound quality plus convenience. I have a playlist of about 780 of my favorite songs that I play on shuffle and that's what I play most of the time. What's great is if I discover a new artist or song, I just pop it on the playlist and I know I'll hear it again... eventually. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Hey Mookie! Things are going well my friend! However I'm on the other side of the state where we only get 6" of rain a year. Weird year for weather though, normally much warmer than it has been, but I'm not complaining. Belle's are sounding great, put Crites networks and driver's in them and matched them up with a Heresy center channel equipped the same... it makes for a seamless front bank, excellent for both music and video. So in keeping with the real purpose of this thread, what music makes you want to pump more wattage through those Belle's? Rock on my friend! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Damn! And you are a lucky man for having such a loving wife! Rock on mate! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Cool! But where's the 68" or did I misread your original post? I have a pair of KSW200's (which honestly is overkill but I had to fill the space with something ;-) and they definitely shake the room, can't imagine what your beauty does... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. 68" wide? What the heck is it? Sounds like you could use it for a kitchen table [emoji16]!!! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  12. Nor my Belle's, but then again they're like brothers eh? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  13. Damn, meant Zep IV... forgot my Roman numerals! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Actually, the entire first side of Zep IX (the newest remaster) sounds awesome with a little wattage... might have to listen to that in fact! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Ha! Know all about the blurry my friend... that whole trip was blurry and the concert definitely was. Bluesboy drove his non-airconditioned Monte Carlo straight through from Eastern WA to LA during the middle of the day, along with myself and another good friend. The Charlie Daniels Band was another of the opening acts that day. I could tell you so many stories about that day, but I'd probably have to shoot you. Regardless, it was a great trip, never to be forgotten... at least what I can still remember... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
