Call Klipsch parts but doubtful they have anything to replace it. Look on ebay maybe for a set being parted out possibly. I have no clue if that woofer was used in any other models so not sure what to cross reference. Maybe it's the spider...or surround...or separated V/C to cone...or...
I have a long time friend in Tulsa that owns a shop called Speakerworks and knows all things Klipsch and has been certified repair for 30+ years. Also sells Heritage. Might give him a shout.

I thought the resident cheerleader would be here soon to copy/paste something. He must be out sick.

He'd be amazed that certain people are allowed to continue to post their drivel, pictures, videos, etc.

Notice how well written it is with good punctuation.

It may extend to 6khz, but not gracefully. Or am I missing something???
You're missing nothing. It's the other one that's missing everything.

here's the monitor version
I have a good friend in Phoenix that has a set of those and has had them for close to 30 years now. Those things are the shiznit and love being played on a big Mac 2300. We tripped a house breaker one night jamming, maybe 1996 or so, and that amp was just coasting. I still remember it to this day.

And the 19's also weren't designed to be a public address speaker from the back of a train for PWK's buddy Winthrop Rockefeller. Both have their goods and bads and a place in history.

He was busy today.
I will give him another call tomorrow.
I'm not promising anything but he is one of the most knowledgeable people I know in the industry about speaker repair. More so than the rabid cheerleader at this forum. Take Dave with a grain of salt as he doesn't sugar coat anything. lol

TBT
Didn'tBilly Joel - We Didn't Start the FireYeah, that song always irritated me when it was on the radio when it came out. That and any song by GnR, Nirvana, Trailer Swift, Carrie Underwear, most any grunge, most any new country, any hip hop, any rap... I know there are more but those come to mind first that really bite my crank.

Is the title of the thread versus the content a trickery of words, per chance?

Well.....
I know guys that work on tube and SS amps, tuners and speaker networks. Not bass and PR drivers.
Last woofer I reconed was in 1983.
The undefined diligence of a first time use of a craftsman can be problematic.
You might also try Dave Miller at Speakerworks in Tulsa, OK. He's been authorized Klipsch, JBL, Peavey, Celestion, EV, and on and on, for 30+ years. He'll be about to give you more information about Klipsch than the 000 advice given. He's also an authorized Heritage dealer.

Yeah, right. Any excuse to not prove you have CF3s.
The picture(s) have to be less than 2MB. If the picture is more than 2MB, you'll have to resize it. You can post them one at a time if less than 2MB individually.
He loaded them all into the FB Epic group, too. Course, that group doesn't really care if you own Epic speakers or not. Seems to be wide open for any models, for buying/selling/flipping, or whatever.

So what's your recommendation? Don't you have secret access to inventory? If there's no "drones", what's your actual solution?

I've ran a Sunfire HRS-12 (1000w with 12" woofer) for about 18 years now. Bought it when I was the Sunfire rep and living in DFW. It's been used with the Belle inspired clones I built years ago, plus with all the other speakers that have rolled through, and always added that nice low end those others never had. Definitely makes listening to LS's and Belle's more tolerable when you have bass below 100hz. Good for you!

The sharing of information to help each other, the years of yearning for what they finally scored. There are a lot of posts on here showing a lot of labor and expense and their results. I miss these guys and their help.
Randy, thanks for your help too. There are hundreds of these ... posts where the reply has been redacted.

Not everyone shows/releases new stuff at the CES show. Sometimes it's later in the year.

We never see that and I'm not sure anyone knows. But we can show you where 60k+ posts are located at. lol
I own a pair of JBL L100T's, also, that have been modified to T3's. They are great sounding speakers and do a lot of things right...and definitely have more bass.

Great sounding pair of speakers and especially with the Peerless tweeters. If they had the SL2000's, those tended to be a little "hot" but some like them. They actually work well when you have upper HF hearing loss. lol
