  1. The long and short of the thing is that I am not going to pay MSRP for better speakers! The discounted prices offered by internet sellers was enough to get me to make a purchace. It's not that I refuse to pay MSRP, it's that I can't afford that much. I'll just keep what I have. As for business, the FED is lowering interest rates because the ecomony is in such a slump. Klipsch picked a fine time to limit its sales. If unauthorized sales is a problem, then by all means lets give those dealors a Klipsch license. Heck, they are the ones that apparently want to make the sale! The internet is changing our way of being!
  2. Just read about the new 7 channel HT tube amp (SAS 10.7A--$1995) being offered by SAS Audio Labs www.sasaudiolabs.com . Their claiming a "high end" pre amp product that that will do for HT what tube amps do for music! 7 discrete channels with volume control for each channel and an extra imput for your CD player. Anybody have experiance with such a device. Would do away with the need for monoblocks & such? They are also touting their smaller 7 watt/channel model for those of us with high efficiency speakers for $1299.
  3. I'd have to agree with Erik--go demo the series for yourself. Take several CD's and spend some real time with them. Get to know them! If your going to listen to music I greatly recommend this, if your strictly a HT enthusiast the synergy line may suit you just fine. I have the synergy line and feel an upgrade coming on. I have the KSW 10, as such also recommend the 12. Point being, after you get used to something you become able to discern the subtle nuances that make or break the system for you. These speakers are going to last a long time so make the best earformed decision now and be happy!
