k-43 OHMS? I have mcintosh amp i currente=ly in 4 ohnms got it to a mc40

1 more thing.Is this a 4 ohm or 8 ohm woofer?i'm running 8 at the moment.

Nice job.I just finished my first Lascala.Curios to see how they sound.I made a crude prototypy with my verion of upper box.Nut i want to make sure this is what it supose to sound like.I have a k-43 in the bassbin .I'm using a Bob crites Type A cross over.Is there a modification i have to make for it to sound correct to the croosover?Itsis a unit with 3 can capiacitors on it .I don't know too much about the component part.I saw a Lascale Or article that say i should cut hole in top put a back on upper bin and port .When usin K-43.Also stuff it with fiber glass.I have not done any thing yet but follow the original Lascala plans.Any suggestions?Also if i going to make 2nd where can i get hte same cross over?.Should i stuff or pad the walls now ,using the original plans with a k43?

i requested a sub12 from klipsch,it's under warrantee.they said ok but now they are telling me that they are on back order.so they want to send me another 10.Why me?

this is my 2nd time going threw it.1st one blew 3 months ago.@nd one blew 3 weeks ago. And i do play them that loud.here comes my 3rd sub10.How long is this one going to last?Bets anyone?

They are beautiful.Super awesome job.When wacthinga movie or listen to music does you hair blow back on every bass drop???I love your set up.the other 2 are LaScala's,correct.You made htem also?Are you a carpenter by trade or just a hobby.I'm not a carpenten,but i'm very good a t build things .Excellent pistures,i really appreciate it.They must be very heavy.What woofers did you use?I'm going to attemp the LaScala's first.Still working on my rt-10.But the next ones will be the JUB'sDo you know where i can get easy to read ,detailed measurement and angle drawing.'s??I also need the plans for the rc-7 and rt- 10.I have only dimension's i need the inner design plans..I dont know if there are baffles or support ohn the inside. Once again Beautiful work,nice on the paint also.I'm a Painter by trade.I put abut 29 coats of laquer on the rt-10's.Great job .Great job.Great job!!!!!!!!!!

i just broughtmy 1st McIntosh amp.Will be here in a couple of days.Mc250. Now i need a pair Of LaScala's.Got to get to work.I have some plans.Some1 sent them to me.aBut they are a little vaque.Atleast for a layman like me.Any 1 has LaScala pland"for dummies".I'm not a carpenter,a master painter,but not a carpenter.I try .Those angles look a little complicated.but the alternative is 3000.oo dollars(faor a new pair).Almost finished with my rc10.Check out my ,myspace. www.myspace.com/brooklyn758

ATM IM USING the xover from the 4.2 series.Can you tell me how to make that type of cross over ? can i use the 1 i got and add a third speaker to it .The 4.2 xover is a 2 way x-over.Don't have to much fund to use fo this.

hi my name is Chris.I want to build the LaScala's.I just completed a rt-10 ,rc-7 and a sub10.I.m getting the hardware off of Ebay.I need the dimension's or plans for the speakers.Can any1 help me,or tell my where i can find the measurements.?

I picked up the rt19 woofer for 30 buc new off of ebay.im bidding now on a klipssch plate amp for it. i got 2 brand new 8' for my rc-7 of ebay-30 bucs again.just got a 4.2 cross over and i also got a 10 and 1/2 inch klipsch horn for them iu mounted the horn on top of box facing down over my 61" hitachi.super speaker at low volumes .It over powers the 601's ,at low volume .but when i crank it its love a mathc made in heaven, any prices for the hardware for the lascala's? any 1 have old horns or woofers {even if broken }i rebuilt 2 jbl 's in the past. had to refoam them.I'm pretty handy,sumtimes:} Once again thank you 4 the support.You people are very friendly and intelligent.Don't find to many New Yorkers like that.

thats admirable.HE was definitly a genius,i would've have loved for him to explain all this to me.I just started getting my feet wet.I really want to understand the science of it.I always look to learn about thing i don't know. Now ,thanks to you ,it's a personal endeavor.I taught my self computer repair ,got certified for it.I also taught myself many other things.I took a electronic class in H.S{built a houseand car alarm from scatch,copper glad laminated boards and stuff}wish i didn't cut so many classes.i'm not to educated ,never went to college,but i'm very intelligent(sometimes).140 sumthing I.Q.Thanks for the info,you are very well spoken.I have horrible grammer+i hate typing,i'm trying to get better at it.Thank you If you have any sources to share ,it will be greatly appreciated.

what kind of speakers do you have ?and recommend? i have a pair of jblm900's sitting in the cellar,also a/r m3 i don't use .when i sell the and my 2 custom built Klipsch sub wooffers im working on ,then i'll look into a pair of lascala's.tell you the truth if i can get the crossovers and drivers for cheap ,i mightbuild them myself. they look very simple.compared to other enclosures i have made.
