  1. What sounds intriguing is the 4-10" mids and 4-horns with 2" drivers. Could this be a set up with the KPT-305 and K402? The Kpt 305 would be 8" mids, not 10".
  2. $100, you pay freight. But seriously, 8-15" bass bins? That's a hell of system.
  3. Nice looking pair at a good price. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/6zwLD7a59w7c4ezs/?mibextid=kL3p88

    What I Got Today!

That was a good deal, I was eyeballing them myself. I'm always glad to see a good forum member help out another good forum member.
  5. If I understand your question, your asking if adding a dedicated 2 channel amp to your HT system will improve the 2 channel experience? If that is what you are asking, I believe it could. I'd suggest something better that the OSD for the front 2, even the center, something along the lines of a 3 channel power amp near doubling the power capabilities of your speakers. I know Klipsch is efficient, but if your speakers have dips down to 4 or even 2 ohms with the low frequency, your AVR will struggle. Not all watts are created equal.
  6. That's what I primarily use. No sign of corrosion after 13 years.

  8. I'm in Omaha, hit me up if you want as i have Cornwall IVs, you can even bring your amp and we can move the speakers around the house to get different listening experiences. I'm surprised there is no dealer in Des Moines.
  9. Do you work for CHI or Common Spirit?
  10. There sure is a lot of older members in this thread. Oh, the good Ole days.
  11. Most manufacturers don't these days.
  12. Holy crap, I missed that, didn't even realize they had lay offs?
  13. maybe @Trey Cannon isn't as busy or may be able to help.
  14. A bit steep in my opinion. But nice looking speakers. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1112225250212231/?mibextid=dXMIcH
  15. I agree, I do enjoy some of the old school people that pop up every now and then. I really miss the days when we had a bunch of builders around. I really enjoyed Greg's refurbished gear and Gothover's builds.
  16. Careful kicking up old post, they my confuse you for a spammer and ban your @$$.
  17. I've got to say, at first I was concerned how those big speakers were going to fit in that room. You sir have done a wonderful job executing the task. I can't mount ceiling speakers in that manner as my ceiling is to low, but it does give some inspiration as to other possibilities other than in ceiling speakers. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed seeing this room come together.
  18. Heresy over the rc-64. Find a way to mount it in line height wise to the Cornwalls.
  19. Those are some solid headliners. Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan would awesome to see.
  20. What is it that is special about the Model 19? I had some 511 horns and didn't think they were all that great. Can't remember the driver, but I know it wasn't OEM and maybe that had something to do with it. I like the idea of the foam around the horn, maybe even deaden the horn. I am curious as to how well those woofers are, even those 811s and the appropriate driver. Definitely a speaker to try as I am now intrigued.
  21. No response needed for me. Plus they just posed 23 hours ago, not everyone lives on a forum.
  22. I agree with the Cornwall L/C/R, I would actually look at the pro line surround speakers. They have some really nice surround speakers that might cost less than Heresys, and they are designed for surround, so they might fit a location better. But that doesn't mean Heresys won't work, they'd work great.
  23. Interesting, I've always wanted to get more involved as to which pressing are the better pressing, but it takes time that i dont have at the moment. Great video with real world experience. I for one can't understand with all of this technology these days, that why the quality of vinyl pressings aren't more superior that what they are. I am not a physical digital media guy, but do run a hi res digital download source in my systems. I think the good thing about download over physical is that you don't have inconsistencies between material. I enjoyed this with coffee this morning, Thanks for sharing.
  24. So there was some accuracy to my comment? Nice, now what exactly that is, we'll have to wait. How exciting!
