  1. I have another 8080db running my khorns and another one running my Polk SDA SRS 1,2tl,s. Almost forgot about the 7070 in the garage system with Heresy.s and a 7070 running Chorus II,s in my bedroom with all my other receivers
  2. Heck, I can't post anymore pictures. I don't have any that compare to what's already been posted and I started the thread. And the winner is ?????????
  3. Usnret, all you have to do to get the rear shot is turn around and click ! Here is a picture of the front 2-channel and h/t system OK, found one of the rear Belles but seems I can't find ones of the KHorns. How, ya like that dinky left over M&K center in the center? There now ! See how easy that was.
  4. I use an Academy with my Khorns and think it sounds great. I tried a Belle and thought it was too much.
  5. I have a template that I use to cut backs for others. My fronts are 1981 WO w/ crites xovers and my rears are 1979 WO original no mods. Both sets were from the original owners and and in immaculate condition . I had another set until a couple of months ago when my ex brother-in-law talked me into selling them to him. As it turns out he doesnt have a place for them and wants me to store them. I told him no problem I will store them right back in the living room where I had them. Now I will be able to listen to them without spending a dime. One day when Jubilee,s come up on the used market I will have a set !
  6. Yes, I have backs on all four of them ! I have the fronts towed in a little so they image properly and the rears are towed in to match. For the first year I owned the fronts I had them stuffed back into the corners and didnt know that were supposed to image. I had a fella over one day that builds tube amps and he listened to all my systems. He liked every system but this one and asked me to tow them away from the wall. I could not believe the difference, now I knew what imaging really meant. It makes sense now why members say you need a big room with Khorns. I put false backs on all of them and I have made a piece to go at the bottom of the tailboards I just havent put them on yet. I dont know if that piece will make any difference. Heres a pic.
  7. I guess you read right over this six year old post !
  8. Usnret, all you have to do to get the rear shot is turn around and click ! Here is a picture of the front 2-channel and h/t system
  9. USNRET, very nice gear you have there. Now we are getting somewhere. I sure would like to see a shot of Thebes tube gear. I am willing to bet he has alot !
  10. Just post one or two, but it's going to take a lot to beat the SSS (Sansui Stack of Sound) and you are "Guilty as Charged" For those who haven't seen this one yet, these are the custom glasses that my GF made me because I insisted on having them match my RF speakers and it only took components from 3 different frames and a few $$$ to make it happen, but there's no problem here at all. Hey Pete ~~~~ How about a nice yellow Klipsch shirt to wear with your glasses ? They say a picture is worth a thousand words. What we have here is a failure to communicate with pictures. Lets see more picture guys, nobody here cares if you have an addictive personality
  11. Yes Don and you can be the President at this point in the game. I think the picture of all the Sansui receivers needs to be on here too, it reminds me of a time in my early 20's that I had an obsession with German and Swiss audio gear. I'm still trying to find some old pictures of stacked SABA and Revox equipment. I thought I was cured, but then I stumbled upon my RF 7's and this forum and here we go again. I wish I would have been into Klipsch at that time; it would have been a very nice match. Anything for you Pete !
  12. Man it feels good to come out , Thanks Pete !! The Sansui runs the Polk SDA SRS 1.2tl,s (thier not bad) and the Fisher is hooked up to a set of Chorus II sitting on the outside of the Polk which have to be 3' from the outside walls. I saw no need to waste the space.
  13. Trust me, that door stays closed ! Only reason I exposed it is Pete asked for these pictures so it was time to come out of the closet.
  14. Hey Pete,, Do you think I can get in the club ? This is my 3rd bedroom where I keep all the boxes from receivers and speakers that I have bought. There are a few sets of speakers and some receivers in there as well. Don
  15. Chorus II and a Sansui 8080db ! A marriage made in heaven if you are ok with SS. The bass is outstanding !!
  16. Post a picure and they should have Klipsch tags on the back telling what they are.
  17. One more of the nose. Her dads car has skulls on it and she wanted a skull with pigtails. Her wish is my command !!
  18. My grandaughter is now 8 and seriously hooked on drag racing. This is her new car and she will start racing when school is out !
  19. This is a picture of my previous car which was my favorite with my daughter-in-law and grandaughter. It was a Davis car and the nhra numer is 419b which explains my signature.
  20. I am not to sure about this Dr. Edgar fella. While searchimg to see what these speakers look like I found this picture. He is speaking tp people at a convention and didnt even have his pants zipped up.
  21. I guess drag racing could be a less expensive hobby!! It was definately more expensive. One example, you buy a $600 set of slicks and they lasted 80 runs and time for a new set. You buy a $600 set of Cornwalls and listen to them for 2 years and sell them you get your $600 back. I see this hobby as a savings account with fringe benifits.
  22. Thanks Craig, I really do appreceiate the effort you put into finding this for me ! I have one coming. I see in your profile that you have an interest in drag racing. I was a drag racer for 15 years before I gave it up and pursued this hobby. This is a picture of my last dragster.
  23. The Fishers I had (Fisher 500) did not look like that. Mine had ONE size hole uniformly throughout. Like a 3/32" hole. The one you show there looks different than what I had. But, I am no Fisher expert. Thanks Mark, The fella I bought it from said he did not know whether it was the original grill or not. A picture will pop up sooner or later showing the original and then I will try to buy something close. Don
