I just finished bidding for the aiwa XP-R20 which has a digital tuner and CDRW/CD-R playback capabilities. It only cost me $60 so I figure it was a good deal. Check out aiwa.com for it. It retails for $90 so not a bad price.

The products are marketed differently because they are different products geared toward different populations with their own preferences. If Creative just put out one card then they would put out the platinum because that's the best available. But who would want to spend $200 for a card, and some don't need to use the additional options that come with it. If Klipsch only offered 4.1's, then I wouldn't have been able to buy my 2.1's. Get your speakers and you wouldn't be so mad about everything! Hope you get them soon!

Well, if you didn't care about the costs you wouldn't be mentioning the prices of shipping the Klipsch to your home country. That's the reason seb said maybe you should consider crossfires since you were complaining about prices. Do you have any friends that live in America? Can't you just have them buy it for you and send them to lebanon? Hope you get them soon!

Are monitors that different in quality if you dish out over $500? And also, has the monitor technology progressed as much as computer chip technology the past decade or is it static? I'm researching which monitor is best also. IS the price for the sony's more than the viewsonic's? I think that in the past thread someone was wondering why one would want to buy roughly the same quality product for more money. Well, if I had a three year warranty then I would like to stick with the company that won't get bankrupt within those three years. I don't know much about the other company, but Sony has less of a chance of bankruptcy. Again, I would appreciate more opinions on which monitor is best. Thanks!

I'm guessing they're coming from indianapolis, indiana because that's their headquarters? I might be wrong, though. Tell us what you think of the 4.1's when you get them. I remember waiting for the speakers and not being able to take my mind off them, wondering how great they would sound. It was hard to do homework. But it's not like with the speakers at my side my motivation for studying has returned.

I've heard about something like that coming out. But that's a short-term solution. Personally, for the long-term I think you should live in America instead.

Hopefully the 4.1's won't be too awesome or I might have to get an additional 2.1 set for a 4.2 setup or get a 4.1 system.
