I've heard the 63's and know I want the pkg., but $$ constraints will only allow me to piece this together slowly. It will be primarily for movies and hd concerts to begin. Would it make sense to just begin with the center and build out. Or should I just wait.

A little off-topic, but I'm looking at the 63's or 83's currently, but noticed the Cornwalls are the same price as the 83's. Do you have any comparison/contrast thoughts?

Just killin' me. Reading this stuff almost makes me throw up in my mouth. But due to room/family constraints and $$ stuff, I have to go with the 82's. Probably with the 62 center and a yamaha 663. I wish I was young and rich, but oh well.

To me, it does matter where they are made. And I'm currently in the market. Looking at '82's and 63's. Sound will always be the driving factor, but it does matter.

As another soon-to-be Klipsch owner, this "itch"/"bug" of which you all speak has me a bit jittery.

Hey Youthman, In what size room are your 83's? Are you more music, movies, or 50/50?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but these 2 speakers are what I'm looking at. After reading through this, I get the impression that the '82's may be better for all purpose listening and the 63's better for music. I have heard both at the dealer, and will probably be going again this weekend. Does anyone have any more recent experience with either or both of these.

I have no answers; only a question. What did you use for your diagrams. I'm contemplating a system and would love to pose my layout to these folks.

My wife and twins loved the look of these when we went to shop. From the sound received from my untrained ear, I think they might be built for smaller spaces. Once she heard the 63's-Game over; it was not hard to convince her. Now, it's all about just getting it done. The 48's are sexy as hell, though.

I get to go with the 63's. Is the 64 center worth the extra $ vs. the 62??.

It's a Sound Advice near the stadium. Spent about an hour there. (We were the only ones in the whole store). Glad I brought her. She fell in love with the 63's. I am freakin' stoked.
