I had a 250 and 3600, sounded great but had to fix em a bunch of times, finally replaced the system with Sansui stuff ( which I love) now the only marantz I have is some mono blocks, ma500 and ma700, very good stuff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I would shoot higher and buy it piece by piece as you can afford it. Start with a pair of rf-7 II's, they have plenty of bass and should keep you happy till you can fill in around them, they put the 82's to shame....I had 82's and was not impressed. I have a lead on a pair of Khorns, they are asking $1200 but are "extremely motivated" to sell. They are missing some veneer on the trim around the top hats so they need a little work. I auditioned these 3 years ago, they sounded great but the price was higher and since then I bought a mahogany "2nd" pair and there is no way and no room for me to buy a third pair.
