  1. Sure doesn't look like a cube to me. Come on Claude, this is taken out of context. Looking at the horn from the side its a 3 Ft cube.
  2. La Scala's or K-horns with a horn loaded sub sounds awesome, using a direct radiating sub with a set of horns is one of the worst combinations in my opinion. Sounds great until it crosses over and gets sloppy. Using a horn your crossover from mains to sub is seamless, how it should be.
  3. Hmmm, it has to be longer than 11Ft, the outer 3 panels alone are just short of 9 Ft long. 36" x 36" x 36" minus some for the corner braces.
  4. Figured i post here before fleabay gets em. Mids $25 shipped Tweets $20 shipped, told they are Peerless but cannot confirm.
  5. Oh my, that's even worse than my pick. What are these people thinking ? You would think they would record themselves and listen beforehand.
  6. Looks like you just created a boat load of room to accommodate multiple horn subs. Sketchup model looks great by the way.
  7. Makes me sick to my stomach. Link Post your worst offenders.
  8. Very nice buy, they will fill your yard with clean sounds. Glad everything worked out, Mike is a great guy.
  9. Why not just use your wire strippers to reduce your ends to 14 gauge wire, then solder the ends to prevent shorts. No need to buy fancy connectors.
  10. Absolutely, no need to tune low. Cabin gain starts at a higher frequency in such a small space.
  11. For $400 you best look for something used, scan your local c-list, if DIY is an option you open up lots of possibilities.
  12. Building a soffit to conceal your subs is an option but make sure you're willing to live with a minimum subtraction of 18" from your current ceiling height before you even start your demo work.
  13. Beauteous, for $1200 its a steal.
  14. I just throw my leftover coffee in the fridge and make iced coffee out of it, keeps for a few days then.
  15. You can probably buff that out with some rubbing compound, no worries.
  16. May be just a stuck float, give the carb a few taps with a hammer.
  17. We passed on the cucumbers this year for some reason and planted more peppers. I like to pickle stuff, zesty pickles with a little heat are my favorites.
  18. Dam near 9 grand though, way out of line. I was looking st a few things myself, overpriced but not way out of line. Just a taste... Milo Baughman & Greta Grossman Altec Lansing University
  19. Lots of great oddballs around me too but prices are through the roof. They must have a attachment to them and not really want to sell.
  20. Bill Fitzmaurice has been using ported horn design for some time. Not the same Not exactly but is a port tuned horn loaded bass bin that's been around for some time.
  21. Where would you need that much output besides a large nightclub or pro sound applications ? Would it not be more about the quality of sound and the way your system blends together more than anything ?
