Klipsch makes lots of good stuff, never heard a Klipsch sub i liked. I would like to hear the new horn sub to compare to other models.

Never understood why somebody would want to grill with gas. I have owned a few Weber grilles over the years and find them very useful from the smokey joe to the full size models. A smoker would be nice to have but it would probably not get used much so i never invested in one.

Double braces would be a bit excessive, one 1/2 - 5/8" brace would be plenty to keep the horn mouth from resonating.

Interesting Heresy mod. Maybe you could get by without a subwoofer with this version.

Take a ride out to Simply Stereo in Hoffman Estates IL, they have the Heritage series lineup all hooked up and will cut you a decent price.

Your local fabric store should stock polyester batting in either sheet or loose fill.

2" voice coil on a 12" driver in a sealed box i would not expect too much out of it.

Whats your budget and how much space is available ?

To my understanding tapped horns have lower distortion output than direct radiating models but higher distortion than full horn loaded models. Unfortunately there are tradeoffs to every design.

Just lay a piece of construction paper along the bottom & side of the horn mouth & trace the pattern onto the sheet.

Maybe its just the picture making it look worse. If its just that little spot as Youthman pointed out i would not be too concerned. If its as bad as it looks in the picture take action.

That does no look right, i think it would at minimum affect the dispersion from the horn with that screen 40% blocked off like that. If you purchased these new have this taken care of, i can't believe this would pass any quality control inspection.

That Irish coffee looks yummy, have to try that sometime. The usual is ET & coke or bloody's but change is good.

Heard about this a few times on the net, i don't hear much resemblance myself.
