Just this morning cranked out some random Windows Media player over the wash.

Tried calling earlier and yes that's mine. I have a open case with Illinois Attorney General asking for a return of my unit after communication with Kaspar ended.

Nothing was abandoned. No return of any message of any kind ever until this.

Seller says it was abandoned and his wife's a lawyer. Somebody rubbed the selector switch lettering off pretty good too.

If you go to his websight it clearly states he covers warranty returns, instead I get this headache. Thanks for linking, my phone's not too good with that type of task.

What some will do for a buck. Thanks, gonna be a rough night.

First thing I tried , no phone help and no readily available help online either. Tomorrow I guess, everybody's closed.

You can bridge to answer your question. More amp load and little sound gain but give it a try.

While placement is more important you can experiment. I assume your subs are crossed over properly by that I mean a fairly steep crossover set on the subs ? Love that MiniDSP or what 😄.

If you want to do it right don't make frequencies below 100 Hz the weak link of the sweet horn loaded sound.

Expect better imaging and sound in some ways, not a house rocker but maybe the newer stuff has improved since my experience.

La Scalas - surprising SPL graphs

I ran back and forth high pass at 200 and slight boost to meet the sub around 100Hz. Another method is high pass where the bass bin falls off 80-100 Hz (room). Those subwoofer amps should make that end easy. -
The 12" Dayton powered sub from Parts Express would be a good choice.

Can't complain about the cost of Heresy IV

How much would something comparable from JBL set you back ? -
Kalifornian may be on the right path here, the panel of wood under the drywall is a great idea and makes for a better base to start with. The cavity should be clear the normal things found behind walls such as plumbing & electric. While still hidden it's going to take a little more effort though still remain budget friendly. Easy to mirror another or add as many as you please.

I don't think that little 5" woofer will create enough pressure to make an issue but easy fix by furring out the wall 1/2" maybe giving space for a larger driver. I'm all for infinite baffle as long as they run in pairs but that's another thread and by far more costly my guess.

Had a couple of those trying to get rid of the analog hand-down meter, neither lasted very long and weren't the cheapies.
-
That may be vinyl wrap.

Wall height varies I guess so we keep this basic and mounting to drywall sounds iffy so I drew this up. A 2x2 or similar brace center above mouth. Use good silicone for sealant.
-
The $50 Tang Band 5 1/4" will work with a little spacer behind as it's a little deeper than a normal stud cavity.
-
Slightly smaller scale. 😄
