I should start doing everything with a propane torch.

I had a little propane soldering kit I used for years, just ran across it looking for something else. Sometimes electricity is not available and it's needed for sensitive work.

It's Butane, my apologies. Haven't used it in years.😀

  2. Looking up what Klipsch might use in their new products, in house brand Audiovox along with partner RCA brand wants people to think Copper clad Aluminum is acceptable. At least there's lots it on the market.

Anybody care to have a look at at a newer model and see what is currently used.

I'll be more than happy to eat my crow on it to try to back peddle my comments to the best I can for him.

I really didn't expect an unsolicited refund.

Still good people out there. Some scout out bad ratings and will look even better for the seller.

So if I buy something from you on this forum and it arrives damaged I should just start a thread telling everyone how dishonest you are and that the item isn't as described in an effort to incentivize you to give me a refund?

I have never screwed anybody intentionally here or elsewhere but if a problem arose somehow in a sale you bet I would go out of my way to help just as always.

Jason STR, not directly related to this topic, I'm desperately seeking information on the Wright WPL 20.  I've got one without the power supply and am looking for info that will allow me to build on...voltage specs, components, detailed pics, anything.

Would hate to see this get trashed.

Can't help you there. I suggest the tube or solid state links.

The preamp has to wait. Crap keeps breaking and now the roof is messed up.

  6. Dad brought me shopping to look at a set of 901 after the dog piss rotted the grille of his Altec Valencia's and mom wanted them out of the living room. Not impressed with the sound walked out. Mom brought me out to get something less ugly and picked out the Belle's but since dad liked the sound of my Chorus II ended up getting those. If a pair of Belle's were on the floor or in stock the choice may have been different.

Never understood the draw to Bose products.

I thought I was the only one, I had a 2000 Silverado 82000 miles same thing. I maintained it to the max Chevy dealer had no response? They did all the Maintenace it had a service record to the max.

They were reliable, maybe you guys got stuck with the Monday after New year's build date.

While not perfect odds are you will get 200,000 miles plus out of these.

Lightweight turbocharged engines will be more succeptable to breakage and more costly to own over the long run.
