  1. What are you trying to do with the LED ? Maybe i can give you some help, they are available at many places if its just the LED you're interested in.
  2. We gave up on Comcast years ago, if you want to disconnect your service don't pay your bill. That will get their attention.
  3. The only bad sound i ever heard from an outlet was from a poor contact. Pure BS, how do these people sleep at night. If you want to spend extra on a good outlet just buy the hospital grade models.
  4. I'm honestly just wanting it for certain components and a couple DIY projects I have in mind. And the components I want are from those particular models. Yes I know there are better subs. Klipsch may still offer the parts you need, give them a call. Always very kind and helpfull support too.
  5. Why a sub 10/12 model ? There are so many better choices out there. Never had any problems with mine either but sold it because anything over 45-50 Hz was sloppy sounding.
  6. Lifting not only sucks it can be hazardous, i dam near busted a nut lifting my full turbo 400 tranny with converter out of my 73 delta 88 to get it to the trans rebuilder for racing usage, never again will i strain myself, its just easier to find some help.
  7. People who actually own them will wholeheartedly agree.
  8. To say one is better than the other depends on cabinet width & driver compliment. There is only one design for the F-20, the THT has many build options. Different drivers work better than others depending on how wide you build your cabinet. I agree with the others here about a tapped horn not being able to match up well to the La Scala or Belle bass bin, tapped horns get distorted before meeting the ~100 Hz cutoff point.

  10. Happy Birthday old man. (You have a few years on me at least).
  11. Tommy Ramone the drummer and co-founder of The Ramones dies of cancer at 62 Link
  12. Worth every penny. Upgrading to the bigger MCM ?
  13. I do the same thing when making quesadillas, cheddar works great as does mozzarella. Not sure if cooking the moisture out is healthier or not but it sure is yummy.
  14. Its not just Ford, GM & Chrysler are no different. Shyt rolls downhill and american car makers treat the ones who keep them in business like trash. If it was not for american loyalty the big 3 would all be out of business.
  15. Growing up listening to horns everything else sounds bland. Horns deliver realism and minute details that other types of loudspeakers just cant deliver.
  16. We got recall bulletins every day at the GM dealership. Possible Dave works at Ford, knows somebody who works at Ford or found information on the subject on line If i recall customers were only notified if it was a safety concern.
  17. Good catch Dave. Loose pin will do it.
  18. Sounds like a bad ground or something wrong with the head unit. Normally a bad ground would make the noise through all the speakers at once but its still possible to only happen with one. Try to keep a log of when the problem occurs for documentation and if you could capture the issue with a recorder (phone or whatever) even better this way you have a fighting chance for a free repair if your warranty expires.
  19. Happy 4th of July. Don't blow off any fingers this year.
  20. Theres not enough information on the websights to determine the differences. You would need to do a side by side comparison in the same space to tell witch is better suited to your ears.
  21. If it needs to be lightweight check out the Bill Fitzmaurice Simplexx 15HT sub, it uses lightweight braced plywood construction, corner ports to reduce cone rock and will offer plenty of output for your room size. Its a DIY sub project but there should be a cabinet maker near you. The weight should be near 1/2 of the others mentioned, it uses the Dayton HO 15" driver Here is some info. BFM web pages. S 15 frequency response
  22. If your budget is tight and you need some bass check out a basic subwoofer kit & amp from parts express. Sub kit Amp Add a can of primer, a quart of Rust Oleum and a good brush and you're all set, under $600 You could add 3 foot long 2" ports to the cabinet and it would get you down to ~ -3dB @ 27 Hz Sealed version would be ~ -3dB @ 45 Hz -5dB @ 35 Hz
