  1. Come on Claude, toy subs ? It's true, and don't forget expensive.
  2. First I heard of that, can't see why they would care where you put them after the sale.
  3. This is what you need for that next level of performance.
  4. Look through the Cinema line for better selection.
  5. Always thought Gin smelled like lighter fluid. Sometimes liked a good Long Island iced tea though.
  6. Worst place possible mounting the amplifier in a earthquake machine.
  7. Pictures of the product will help and if you are refinishing a old cabinet or new. Plywood ? Veneer ? Plywood can normally handle much more sanding than veneer.
  8. 40 grand is a lot for a used car but those are nice and do last.
  9. Yes, I prefer it. Depending on room 75-90 Hz
  10. I disagree with the full range comment, if you integrate it right there's no problem. Lots of people have slammed the frequency response of the LaScala, I love hearing that right off the bat so I know upfront they have no idea what they are talking about. Same goes with subwoofer "watts", you can't judge performance with a watt rating.
  11. One may want to invest in a nice rug on the floor if you have a hard surface to reduce reflections, same goes for the walls.
  12. The BS flows well, always be prepared to walk away. Worked a few weeks for this crook having employees spray paint customers old parts that were perfectly good and selling it right back to them. Plenty of honest work out there, no need to take advantage of people but greed is everywhere.
  13. If that mysterious comment was aimed at me I mostly use the La Scala and THT in my album. If not disregard.
  14. Good time to find a nice used car with a bad motor and modify for some fun.
  15. I fully understand and can almost still hear the nagging. Maybe in the future interests will change.
  16. Not a big Klipschorn fan nor would I have any use for that many volleyballs.
  17. I'm sorry to say spending time with the big stuff makes even the La Scala sound unimpressive.
  18. Put in storage never to return. Likely one of my kids or their friends found them interesting.
  19. You don't want your sub to just try and keep up you need to have that effortless sound play right along at any level. Those mains are coasting on a watt or two while your sub is flopping away near limits.
  20. Had the same set, don't know where it went either. Like socks in the wash it just vanished.
  21. Recall hearing a story about a big stash of money hidden behind walls during demolition nonprofit related. Money has to go someplace and sure (hope anyway) there's more good ones than bad.
