hello all. i have a question about how to go about setting the idle current on my pioneer. i have the service manual. my question is do you use both pots to reach the correct setting with the balance in the middle? this amp has only one negative and one positive test terminal per side but two pots for adjusting on each side left and right. im not going to adjust the trim pots untill i take a reading to see what it is. the manual is on line @ hifi. thanks

thanks for all the info...my heresys already have k-53-k's in there. i was going to buy some off the same but they are the h2's. i was going swap the horns on those not the k 55's. make any difference? i don't think i worded my question correctly....as my kids say..my bad

does anyone know if you can swap h2 horns with h1 horns on k53-k drivers?

WELL DTEL, BINGO! MID HORN IS THE CULPPRET! I Stuffed a sock in both tweets and took piece of cardboard and put it in front of the mid horn, angled it up towards me and i could hear the raspy sound of the voices!The other was clear as a bell. Nickel Creek was a great test cd,... now what?THANKS MUCH

Thanks. I will do all of the above. B.ut there is another issue i think with that same cab. The ohm reading is 12.9 at the cab. terminals... the other reads 7.9 What do you think that indicates? I do thank ya'll for this help. nick

what tweeter problems could exist that would make diaphram replacement needed besides no sound at all? one of my k77m's does'nt sound as clear as the other. i'm on a budget or i'd just replace them, but i don't know if thats the problem.i'm listening to connick jr. right now and its noticeable ,like he needs to clear his throat.lol ya know?best way that i can describe it. thanks all

by the way you have the teeters fixed or the crossovers? what are some symptoms of crossovers going bad?

hello all. i have some heresys ,my third pair and it seems the tweets are not bell clear on vocals. kind of an airy sound. do i have a crossover problem or do you think diaphrams? also shows up on sax solos. may sound dumb but i know its there. thanks for any help

im chekn into it as we speak. found link to the site on craigs list. the whole set of blueprints. great huh. brand new member but i just loves loud music. gotta sound clean though, im 55. love those klipsch
