  1. Not to be confused with the Schu Resonance - The gross feeling you get when reading his thread craps in the Garage Sale forum.
  2. His third post, eight minutes after the OP;
  3. Don't hesitate to deal with Rick, he's a straight shooter. GLWYS
  4. I admit if he kicked a dog It would be a different scenario but I would still come to this thread to see what kind of person defended his actions...Then again, you can't be charged with assault for kicking a dog (although there are other not as major charges) and it could not sue in civil court--Otoh, a Human Being is a different matter and there are criminal laws on the books and given that video, I can't help but think a jury would issue damages in favor of the victim. Getting caught kicking a dog on video can cost you your job -- even if you're a powerful CEO. Desmond Hague, CEO of privately owned Centerplate, a Connecticut-based catering specialist that serves specialty food at sports stadiums, conference centers and public facilities across North America, resigned under pressure on Tuesday. http://www.11alive.com/story/news/nation-now/2014/09/02/ceo-kicks-dog-centerplate/14985213/
  5. I've been following this thread and I'll add a couple of thoughts; 1. Props to those of you who have added well-thought out opinons & respectful posts. I've seen other threads online regarding this topic that are just as revolting as the incident itself. b. The disgrace of the league’s handling of Ray Rice knocking his fiancée out cold grows larger and larger with each breaking news story and subsequent denial or “admission” of failure, calls for Goodell’s resignation are growing louder and louder and not just from fans on Twitter, but from the league’s partner, and often times enabler, ESPN, as well as the National Organization of Women. I believe everyone has it wrong. Stop calling on Goodell to go. The inept, incompetent, and possibly unscrupulous Goodell only holds power because 32 of the richest men in America give it to him. Start calling on his bosses to do the right thing and make him go. Make no mistake: Roger Goodell works for them. Those 32 insanely rich men. They have hired him to do their dirty work and increase their bottom dollar. Goodell has been such an able employee, and just as importantly, been the face to take all the cries of hypocrisy and greed sent the NFL’s way, that they rewarded him with $44 million in salary last year. All of this to a commissioner whose gaffes and missteps are well-documented. High profile columnists, players both former and active, and fans on social media are happy to point them out. So it is time for one of the 32 richest men in America to stand up and be the first to say that the man they pay to do their bidding has to go. It is time for one of them to publicly, with his name attached and his face on camera, to say that Roger Goodell failed his biggest test. One owner needs to take the first step that will do whatever needs to be done to salvage something good out of all of this horribleness, no matter how much money it might cost 32 of the richest men in America. Seems to me that strategy worked during the lockout...
  6. A not-so-subtle hint that the horrid comic font should never be used...?
  7. You can edit the OP to reflect that you've withdrawn the sale. Look at the bottom of the OP for the 'Edit' button. Click that then click the 'Use full editor' button.
  8. IIRC that is a set that Greg Roberts renovated for a european customer. They were photographed in his shop.
  9. Thanks for a perfect transaction! Enjoy the tuneage.
  10. These discs were my late mother's. I've verified that each case holds its designated disc and that they don't have any heinous scratches or gouges. She was meticulous about her music so I'm going to guarantee their playability. I won't separate the lot. My terms are simple and straight forward: -email me at ironic831atgmaildotcom with your ship to zip code to allow me to secure your place in line in the event that there are multiple interested parties. -First come with a payment is first shipped. Anybody that decides to cancel a transaction prior to shipment cedes their spot to the next interested party. -Payment is your preference of a)Paypal, b)USPS money order, or c) personal check. The Paypal conditions are shipped to verified address only and you'll be responsible for their ridiculous fee. Shipment will occur upon receipt of funds. The USPS money order conditions are none. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Shipment will occur upon receipt of funds. The personal check conditions are that shipment will occur upon my bank's clearance of your check. - Normally I only ship via USPS Priority Mail flat rate with delivery confirmation to a USA address. Unfortunately they don't have a box that will acommodate all of these items together. I will still include shipping at my expense. This item will be packed very very securely. -I'm not a slug. Verify that with any forum member I've done deals with to date. I do everything I say I will do and I do it in a timely fashion. Your funds will be promptly and cheerfully refunded if you're unhappy with the item's performance. Return shipping will be at your expense. This transaction requires that both parties make an effort to complete the deal. If you're unsure of your own commitment to make that effort, don't even bother. You'll just be wasting both of our time. Now is the time to ask any questions. Post in this thread or via the email address above. Klipsch forum email and PM's are discouraged. I have the full size pictures available to email. Thanks for reading. Peace! -Ron
