  1. Once upon a time, someone posted the intented use of the bolts/screws on the top of the cabinet (4648A-8). Please refresh my memory. Tony
  2. BobG: We, (as always) appreciate your input. Mr Paul will remain at home during the announcement. Everyone is invited to the Klipsch's home afterward to visit with Mr Paul & Miss Valerie. Tony
  3. BobG: That's not what I've been told by Miss Valerie. Tony
  4. Hey guys, I don't want to make a dime on this deal! I mean that! There's no way that I deserve to profit from Mr Paul's book. It just wouldn't be right. I'm glad to do what I can for my fellow forum members. I'll keep you posted, Tony
  5. To all that have written me: My work email is temporarily ka-put. I can receive, but I can't send. If there are extra "personalized" copies of the book, I will attempt to get all I can. Hang in there and keep the faith. Tony
  6. jhawk92: Email your home address to me and I'll send you the official announcement card about the book signing. Also, if anyone else would like one, I have five more. (I think) Tony
  7. jhawk92: The books won't be at a "bookstore", they'll be at the book signing. This event will take place in the Spencer building in Hope. Tony
  8. I'd like to get a "feel" on how many from the BB will be attending the book signing. So, please let me know if you are planning on attending this event. Tony
  9. I posted this in the pro section, with no responses. So here we go again. I've been using a Crate box mixer along with some pro line LaScala's for small to medium events. Shure mics take care of the announcements and a Harman-Kardon CD player handles the music. Problem is, this Crate amp sounds thin... no bass. I've used the LaScala's on a home stereo with much better sound... plenty of bass. Here's the question... Can someone recommend a similar product (8 channel box mixer) with a better frequency output? This thing says it goes to 50Hz, but it sure doesn't sound like it. I guess I'm trying to get a home sound from my pro stuff. I know the LaScala's can do more with better equipment. Tony Thanks, Tony This message has been edited by Tony Reed on 02-27-2002 at 09:39 PM
  10. I'm sure arrangements can be made to get a autographed copy to a few of the faithful. Tony
  11. Books will be available at the signing. As of now, there are no other Klipsch events planned for that weekend. We are welcome to go to the museum located near the factory. If anything else is organized, it'll be up to us to do it. Tony
  12. Please see attached picture about the book signing. Tony
  13. jhawk92: I'll try to "nail down" some details tonight. Tony
  14. I should have more info on PWK's book signing soon. As well as other possible activities during this event. Stay tuned. Tony
  15. jhawk92: Don't know about the following day right now, but I'll find out. Tony
  16. Here's the latest on PWK's book and the upcoming announcement. I've been asked by the Klipsch's to pass along the following to their Internet friends. The book "debut" will be in Hope, Arkansas on Friday, March 22nd (2:30-6:30) at the Spencer building. It will be a catered event with local & state dignitaries in attendance, as well as the media. Paul will remain at home, but everyone is invited to the Klipsch's for open house to visit and congratulate Mr. Paul on the book and his 98th birthday. More information to follow, Tony

  18. The website http://www.mrspaulwklipsch.com is the best source for info. Keep checking, it should be updated soon. I forgot to mention that the "get together" will be a combination of the book announcement and a birthday celebration for PWK. Tony
  19. I have just returned from visiting with "Mr. Paul" & "Miss. Valerie", (yesterday) and I'm happy to report they are doing well. I arrived to find PWK sitting in his favorite chair watching a basketball game on TV. The Klipsch's have asked me to relay their best wishes to all their friends on the Internet. They would also like to say a special "Hello" to all their friends that attended last year's 1st annual Klipsch Fan Club convention. As some of you know, a book about Paul's life is about to be published. It is tentatively scheduled for sometime in mid March to coincide with Paul's 98th birthday. The final date will be announced as soon as it is known. The book signing was to take place at the Aerospace museum in Little Rock. That plan has since been changed. The book signing and festivies are now planned for the conference room at a local bank in Hope. This will allow Paul to remain in his hometown. Miss Valerie has said that everyone is invited to their home after the signing to visit with her and "Mr. Paul". The Klipsch's are truly wonderful people, and they have invited all of us to this very special event. I know I'll be there, and I encourage everyone one else to attend as well. Tony
  20. They're Heresy Industrial's. They can be placed in the corner or on their sides for use as stage monitors. Tony
  21. Mr. "Paul" & Miss. "Valerie" still keep a box of these pins handy at their home. I've been lucky enough to receive mine in person. They look exactly like the ones up for sale on Ebay. Tony
  22. I'm gonna have to agree with mobile. I paid a heafty sum for my Cornwall II's. I wouldn't trade back for twice the amount. Of course, they were in mint condition in the original boxes in just the finish I was looking for. The point is... this speaker has a very loyal following. Tony
  23. soundog: Are you still satisfied with the K55 "replacements"? Anything to add now that you've used them for awhile? Thanks, Tony
  24. Klipsch has used several numbering systems. I was just going by the numbering method on my Belles. I got mine straight from the factory, so I know the serial numbers on mine are "day" specific. Tony
