  1. I have my barely used Klipsch C-3 center channel for sale here in Greenville, SC Here is my local craigslist link with photos of the speaker. http://greenville.craigslist.org/ele/5953617294.html If you have any questions please use the email link provided on craigslist as it will get directly to me.
  2. if you keep your house clean then you shouldnt have a mice problem... ive never seen anything more than a random roach or two in a house ever... but now you've got me worried about my F-3's since they've got a 6" tall by 3" wide port at the bottom lol
  3. the reason im asking is my onkyo 805 is 7.1 and turns into 5.1 if you bi-amp the mains well it also has a option in the menus for 4ohm or 6ohms and in the instructions it says if its 6ohms or higher to set it on that.. but if 4ohms to set it to 4ohms... i dont see why i twould make a difference unless they dropped a resistor across to bump up the impedence but seems like that would just be a huge waste of energy. right now i only have F-3's hooked up with a Sub-12 so i guess its fine.
  4. ok, im going to bi-amp my F-3's and see how that works BUT i cant seem to find anywhere that shows the impedence of the two seperate terminals... i am about to assume that they are 4ohms each since its an 8 ohm nominal speaker but theres two 8" woofers on one and then the compression driver the other and i have no freaking clue as to what the impedence on compression drivers is... the 15's in a set of 4-ways i had were 3.2ohm so im flying blind here...
  5. you take a LOT of them... welcome to the Klipsch World, im fairly new myself... but im SUPER happy with mine. my SUB-12 is more than i need even with F-3's
  6. I've started using this to test my setup for distortion and whatnot... And I was AMAZED at how my f3's took every bit of power that my onkyo805 could throw at them... And with not a hint of distortion... My b-3s would nearly explode WAY before I got into the higher volumes with it... Just wondered who else used this song.... It a current favorite of mine
  7. i dont drink coffee and the bathroom is about 12 feet away from my door lol, need a minifridge for beer, having to go downstairs sucks lol the closet door will be in the way of a shelf, its only about 18" from the corner to the door frame... i have a feeling i dont get to use my B-3's or C-3... they just get to sit in boxes lol... actually the B-3's are doing Aquarium Stereo duty haha
  8. lol, i was just talking about this kinda stuff with my dad and how crazy and stupid it is, good to see others think the same. btw, electricity cares nothing about vibrations... if theres a path then its going for it, doesnt matter if its at a funky harmonic or not... my onkyo reciever is sitting on the 2nd shelf of my computer desk, and its a glass top, i wish it was wood only because its heavier than the planet, yes its a bazillion pounds, and i think it could break the glass lol where can i get some silver barbed wire? is that at the baller army surplus store?
  9. honestly, too big for the room lol... if you sit at the end of my bed, ZERO bass... sit back where my head would be if laying down and its very clear... room is 10x12 btw lol im thinking of putting the B-3's back in my room as ghetto surrounds but idk if i cna get that C-3 to go anywhere...
  10. i grabbed the C-3 for 179 shipped off of amazon lol going to pick up a set of F-3's after lunch today to go in place of my B-3's
  11. these were taken with a Nikon D50 with a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens so the edges are kinda stretched, shot it at 12mm to try and get the whole setup in but couldnt pull it off B-3's on Woodtech stands, Onkyo Reciever is on 2nd shelf of computer desk... they are also my computer speakers lol its like having a nightclub in my room
  12. im not gonna lie, i laughed when i red the two cats part. we've got one cat and ive got a fish tank in the other room... does that count? lol heres some shots of my "dwellings" im pretty sure its got the acoustics of... i would say dump but i bet that a garbage dump actually would be pretty good lol *EDIT* these were taken with a Nikon D50 with a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens so the edges are kinda stretched, shot it at 12mm to try and get the whole setup in but couldnt pull it off B-3's on Woodtech stands, Onkyo Reciever is on 2nd shelf of computer desk... they are also my computer speakers lol its like having a nightclub in my room *pictures will go here, they are uploading to flickr*
  13. i had the C-3 ordered yesterday lol.... im probably going to get those F-3's tomorrow after lunch since my buddy is going to let me throw them in the back of his escalade. and the B-3 + Sub12 combo is almost perfect but i have a feeling that the dual 8's will fill the SMALL gap that ive been stressing the B3's to fill. now how to make this all work in a 12x11 room that includes a twin bed, book case, chest of drawers and a glass computer desk... lol 12lbs of poop in a 10lb bucket
  14. i really dont want to hassle with the shipping of them if i need to warranty them lol.. plus i dont think i can fit a set of F-3's in my mustang, ive got a box with 2 10" subs in the trunk lol... ill just get my buddy with an 04 Escalade to help me out.
  15. cool, ill post a shot of my current steup when i get home... at the moment its a 2.1 setup, ive got to figure out where to stick a C-3 right now tho...
  16. wow, that kinda sucks knowing that i cant really go smaller than a C-3... if i posted a shot of how my setup currently is i would get flamed into a black hole... Large Hadron Collider style! ive heard of people running all B-3's before but i dont know how id get a 5th B-3 unless someone else wanted the other once since as far as i know you can only buy them in pairs. *EDIT* just found the C-3 for 178 bucks on some kind of super sale... im buying it NOW, ill find a place to put it later lol... now i just have to find me a killer deal on F-3's because 850 + shipping is a bit rich at the moment... if i hadnt heard the F-2's vs the F-3's side by side i would just get the F-2's but i LOVE the highs from the F-3's *EDIT 2!* went to best buy at lunch to just see how big F-3's are and saw that they had some Icons now and they have 3- 6.5" drivers each... havent had a chance to listen but the BIG deal was they had a set of open box F-3's for 560 for the pair... one needs a new foot and a new rubber insert for the grill but other than that they APPEARED to be fine... I might go back and listen to them at an extremely high volume to see if they have a busted voice coil or anything like that.
  17. I bought some B-3's a few months ago to go with my Sub-12 and then bought an Onkyo TX-SR805 to go with them and for future expansion... well id like to get a center and a set of surrounds, ive thought about getting another pair of B-3's and using those as surrounds and then getting a C-1 or C-2 for the center... Currently i have my stuff sitting in my bedroom, and its only about 12x11... im just trying to get this stuff before i cant afford it anymore... and right now its either surrounds and a center OR a new Nikon D90 camera body... sooooo... would the B-3's and a C2 or C3 be good to run or should i look at something smaller... I've ALSO thought about getting a set of F-3's and just pushing my B-3's to surround duty but thats a bit rich for me... they even sounded amazing in best buys aisle of crap lol. BUT i have a feeling that having F-3's in front with B-3's in back AND a Sub-12 might be a LOT of speaker for a room. i plan on moving into an apartment soon but i want good sound so to wrap it all up, two more B-3's and a C-3, B-3's and a c-2, smaller and a C1 or C2, F3's and a C-3 or your suggestion....
  18. check the tv to see if ti has a audio sync setting, its a pretty big problem with flat panel TV's look on the LG website to see if they have a fix...
  19. well, its here but its got a damned dead channel... left front channel has zero output... everything else is fine it seems... i guess im the victim of a refurb...
  20. as for the SD playback with the PS3, it looks just fine on my 32" Toshiba Regza, i know its not a super baller-tastic 104" plasma or what some of you guys have but unless you are sitting 1' from the screen i doubt you'll notice a difference in video quality... either way you could always just buy an XBOX360 and use it for DVD playback and if you wanted to you could grab an HD-DVD player for the 360 and you'd have all formats covered.... and if you get the XBOX360 elite then you'll have HDMI output for everything... PS3 does everything great, even the guy who just posted up his Klipschorn Jubilee setup had a PS3 as his BluRay player
  21. yeah, i had 40 new emails on my iphone because of this thread lol... thank god for the wifi access otherwise it woulda taken forever... btw, i got my B-3's in and ive got them almost balanced with my SUB-12... they LIKE power.... my 80w per channel AIWA isnt up to the task at all.... hopefully my Onkyo makes it here soon...
  22. man, i didnt even think about whether or not it came with the remote, i sure as heck hope that it does... if not then some things might be impossilbe to change if its ANYTHING like my AIWA... i cant even turn the sub on and off without the remote with my AIWA...
  23. friggin awesome man... i was actually looking at that, im going to go ahead and throw it on my credit card... w00t *EDIT* just ordered it... again, thanks for the heads up
