  1. I was just looking in the "Garage Sale" Section and saw this.... CLICK HERE I don't know if this fits your needs, but it looks like a pretty good deal. Dennie
  2. Hey AmmarYasirA, Welcome to the Klipsch Forums. We're glad you're here. [<)] I think you'd get better responses in the "Home Theater" Section. ------> CLICK HERE As far as receivers go, I'd look for one that has the features you need. AVR's in the same price range are typically very similar these days, so features are the what you want to look for. Good luck and happy listening, Dennie
  3. Some say yes and some say no, to "break in" time. What amp are you using? Are you still using the 45-50 wpc AVR? If so, that are still way underpowered. Try something with about 200 - 300 wpc, as you can never have to much "head room". I'm not saying you need to play them louder, I'm suggesting a bigger amp to fill in the bottom end, without having to turn the volume up too much. Dennie
  4. Not buying Klipsch first, instead of last!!! At least I finally came to my senses! Dennie
  5. We always work better as a team!! I don't know where I'd be without you guys. ........ Dennie
  6. Welcome to the Klipsch Forums Druss, we're glad you're here. [<)] Speaker placement is critical. Try to get the speakers spread out as far as possible, as this will give you much better stereo separation/soundstage. Toe them in toward the listening position. This will take time and patience. Small increments and listen for a while, move a little more and listen for a while and so on and so on. I think I fooled around with placement for a couple of weeks (with my La Scalas) before I found the right placement. I too think you could use more power. Even though "Klipsch" speakers don't require a lot of power, I think you are under powering those fine speakers and not getting the bass you desire. Try switching the speaker setting to small, instead of large and this will reduce the load on the amp. I know it will also reduce the bottom end/bass, but lets get the speakers sounding good first, then we can go back to the large setting and see how it sounds. You may need to add a subwoofer latter on, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Don't worry too much about the wires/cables now. As long as you have everything connected properly, we can work with what you've got. DO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BOTH SPEAKERS CONNECTED Plus (+) from the AVR to Plus (+) on the speaker and Minus (-) to Minus (-), as this will cancel out your bass if you have one backwards. Keep us posted and congratulations on your new speakers! Dennie
  7. If you can't find some used (keep an eye on the "Garage Sale" section), you can probably build them or have them built. [] I've used these on my La Scalas.... Not as pretty, but they work! Dennie
  8. Those look good for the price..... [Y] You may need to update the crossovers, but I still think it is a good deal. Keep us posted, Dennie
  9. Thanks Bill, for that price, we can't really go wrong. [<)] Ordered! It will be here Tuesday. [Y] Dennie
  10. That's a great looking console. Congratulations and good luck on the restoration/modifications! [Y] Do you know what year it was made? Dennie
  11. Two more... Have you tried any Sansui products? They get good reviews here in the U.S.. Dennie
  12. No, I have not tried it. We don't have a lot of gear that you have access too. Here is the pictrue... Dennie
  13. Hey QK, always good to see you. Well, you don't have many choices, so I suggest you pick up the Sansui and give it a test drive. I've always heard good things about Klipsch and Sansui. If you don't like it after a month or so of listening, you can sell it and try something else. You've tried Marantez, so give the Sansui a a fair chance, you just might love it. Dennie .....
  14. Hey Clay, welcome to the Klipsch Forums, we're glad you're here! [<)] La Scalas!! Get the La Scalas and be done with it! If you buy some of the tiny speakers, you'll just want to upgrade! LOL It seems like a fair price, if they are in good condition. Do you have any pictures? Keep us posted, Dennie
  15. You are welcome Capt., enjoy yourselves out on the boat. [<)] Dennie
  16. Yeah, that link take me to a "Can not be found" on there website. But I found this, on that site ----> CLICK HERE Very Cool! [Y] Dennie
  17. Have you seen this in the Garage Sale Section... --------> CLICK HERE "FS: PrimaLuna ProLogue Two Integrated Amplifier - $1100 " No affiliation, I noticed it yesterday. Dennie
  18. Hey Flicker, You should ask this question in the "Home Theater" section. A Receiver is a "Processer" (also known as a Pre-amp) and "Amplifer" in the same box, so you don't NEED an additional amp. As a matter of fact, the Pioneer Elite you mention has 9 channels (9 amps) and should be plenty of amp for just about any situation, at 140 watts of class D power per channel. But at this price, there are many options. I like Pioneer Elite, but you should also look at Marantz, Denon, Harman Kardon, etc...! Dennie
  19. ............. That is funny! Nice one CT!! Dennie
  20. Clueless? You sound like the smartest guy on the block! If it works, don't fix it! Really, what else could you want? I spent a few years chasing a better speaker. Then one day a pair of La Scalas come up for sale from the original owner on Craigslist. $1100 and $300 for new crossovers and I'm done looking. Are there better sounding speakers? There might be? Do I care? HELL NO!!! My system sounds better than I could of ever imagined and I'm done chasing speakers. It's a great feeling. As Cal said, go buy some new (to you) music and enjoy your Audio Nirvana! Congratulations by the way! [<)] Dennie
  21. Choose your songs/playlists carefully and load the ones you want "this week" or "month". All of my music is ripped "lossless" and it sounds great where ever I plug it in. Dennie
