  1. Now I have to wonder if all my fuses are facing the right direction! [:S] [bs] Dennie
  2. Hey Jpm, I "patch" my Ipod into my preamp like G. Kennedy suggested. I went to Radio Shack and purchased ($12.99) a 20' - 1/4" Stereo mini jack to RCA jacks cable and plug it into the CD input on my preamp. This way I can sit in my favorite chair and use my Ipod through my system. Remember, this will not charge your Ipod. I charge my Ipod every night in my I-Home clock radio dock. Dennie
  3. Happy Easter to the whole Klipsch Family! [A] Dennie
  4. Is the cartridge on the TT OK? Can you use a different source? Like a CD player or DVD player? Are your connectors good everywhere? Is there a frayed speaker wire somewhere?
  5. Hey Nate, Does moving the volume or balance control have any affect the "distortion"? You might want to try some of this: CaiLube MCL is a precision lubricant for moving contact surfaces. Ideal for use with faders, switches, potentiometers, and other mechanisms with sliding surfaces. Maintains optimum signal quality and reduces wear and abrasion. It replenishes lubrication lost on surfaces that have been cleaned with solvents or other cleaning solutions. Formulated for conductive plastics and carbon based controls. CaiLube MCL, 5 oz. Spray: Provides light 5% coating of CaiLube MCL liquid. Petroleum naphtha carrier solvent used to flush away dust, dirt, and contamination. Here's a Linky! ------------>CLICK HERE

  7. WOW~! I like speakers that make my La Scala's look small! [^o)] Michael, do you have relitives in Japan??? [] Dennie
  8. Sweet! They are beauties! Nice woodgrain and I like the size. Thanks for sharing them with us. Dennie
  9. Good Call Rabbit! I too was going to recommend the Oppo. It is one fantaistic deal and a fine universal player at the right price. It may need to be hooked up to a monitor for initial set up, but after that it sould be good as a CD/MP3 Player. Dennie

  13. Thanks for the introduction Pen Man. I have only been here a short time, but it already feels like home! The great thing about acquiring Klipsch speakers is not only some of the best speakers ever made, but you become part of the "family" and that is Priceless! Michael! Stop staring at me! [:S] Dennie
  14. I think a 2 channel amp will do you just fine. Let the HK take care of the center and surrounds. I don't think a stereo amp will make that big of a difference with timbre matching the front end. A good stereo amp will take care of your 2 channel needs and will most likely cost less than a three channel amp. Remember, the more components they put into a single chassis, the lower the quality of said components. Three 2 channel amps will almost always give you better quality than a 5/6/7 channel amp. Less heat, bigger transformers, etc. I hope this helps, Dennie
  15. Beautiful Set up! The LS II's look fantantic. I have 1979 LS's and I just love them. I can't imagine how beautiful the II's sound! Dennie
  16. Sweet! I am so jealous! I don't know that I could part with my La Scalas, but you have to do what you have to do! Did I mention that I am Jealous? Well, I am!!! Congrats Phil! I hope the waiting doesn''t hurt too much! Try to keep yourself busy and that dosen't mean looking at Khorn Porn online! [:S] Dennie
  17. Hey Rich, Tennis Balls, Racquetballs, Ping Pong balls, Volley Balls.......whatever it takes to get you out of those darn Ballet Shoes!!!!! [] Dennie[:|]
  18. Hey James, You do get 2 sets of MoPads, but you also get 4 wedges for adjusting the angle. As you can see in this picture, the outer ones have the wedges on them, the center one's are behind them. You can turn the wedges around and make the Mopad level or use them as in the picture for a greater angle. I hope that is clearer. Dennie
  19. I was kidding about the ballet shoes, but I do walk gently around the TT. Yea, something like that Dennie. But not those ones since they are sloped. I was going to get some foam, (cheap) or maybe some of those isolation cones. I saw on Audiogon where someone took tow pieces of MDF/plywood and set 2" of foam between it with the TT on top. Hey Rich, I thought you were joking and I was just messin' with you. The MoPads come as a pkg. of 8 pieces. So you can configure them at different angles or flat. Here is a different picture of of the package...... They do have other products, but this one was recommended to me and they are working fine. Dennie
  20. Ahhh........Rich? A little too much info there, buddy! LOL Even if I did wear ballet shoes to play records, I don't think I would post about it!!! [:$] Joking! Maybe you need something like these........ MoPads! Here is a link----------------------------Click HERE! There may be other isolation products that are better, but these work for me and are about $40. Dennie
  21. Think of it as a new exercise program. That is so true, while listening to vinyl, I often look at the CD Player to see what track I am on.....and you can't just hit the skip forward or backward button when listening to vinyl. But the beautiful sound is worth all the exercise! Lets not forget the cleaning! Oh, the cleaning must be done! [:S] But it is all part of this great hobby! One good thing is, I can usually read the liner notes with out a magnifying glass! [<)] Have fun and remember to ask all of your friends to "Borrow" their vinyl, you'll be surprised how many people will just give you there "old" vinyl! Dennie
  22. Absolutely! Knock the dust off it and get it spinning! [8][8]
  23. I think you are going to be very Happy! [] But the waiting Sux!!! [:'(] Let us know your thoughts once you get them hooked up. Oh and Congradulations!
