  1. Why would the xcrossover setting for the sub matter as long as it is above the xcrossover setting from the receiver? The sub will get only what it receives putts out. Just make sure the sub is set at or above the xcrossover frequency from the receiver.

    KSW12 Sub

What kind of receiver do you have and what do you have your xcossover settings set for on both the receiver and your sub? What about the volume on your receiver and sub when you are playing movies?

    KSW12 Sub

I have it hooked up the exact same way that I had my Infinity Sub hooked up. The LFE out with a Y connector.

    KSW12 Sub

My KSW12 does not automatically turn on, when I put in a dd or dts dvd. My previous Infinity sub would detect the LFE signal and turn on. I have to actually set the switch to "on" in order for the KSW12 to activate. The "autodetect" switch doesn't seem to work on this sub. Does anyone else have the same problem?
  8. I just recently upgraded my Infinity BU1 subwoofer and cheap fronts with a KSW12 Klipsch sub and Klipsch KSF8.5 fronts. I currently have all of the speaker settings on my receiver set for "small" and my LFE xover output set at 100(my only options are 100,150, and 200). I also have the xover set at 100 on my sub to match my receiver. I need to know the correct settings for optimal performance, based on this equipment. I also have a phase switch on my sub, which gives me options of 0 and 180. Which one should I choose?
